  2. There are people who book well over a year in advance or more so it will be a while I would imagine . Doubt they will drop the price like they supposedly did or will do for not having gratuities included not to mention OBC. Maybe they will do away with that category and use those cabins for aqua and the aqua for concierge. Who knows I doubt I will be part of celebrity by that time.
  3. Totally agree cant stand the buffet on any ship. when will people realize they can go back multiple times and not have to pile everything on one plate.
  4. Totally agree that we had the same from our female butler and now we get none of the above.
  5. Totally different from our experience, no card no introduction etc. Hoping yours in the normal experience.
  6. How did you even get hold of the head butler, we were told there was one but no card in room ,he never came near us and my only other interactions were with the concierge when getting a drink in the retreat or calling room service.
  7. Absolutely but it's a slippery slope to the bottom of the barrel. We haver already booked a Neptune suite on HAL for three weeks in November on Rotterdam which also has a dedicated orange dining room etc. But they also do not serve drinks to you in their version of the regret even if you have the top Bev package. So wondering what to do going forward do I go to luxury lines like Regent or silver seas, Oceania or Simi;lar. I do like medium size ship rather than the small one or mega large ones and also like to have a decent size casino. Platinum on NCL, elite plus on celebrity, 4 stars on HAL and will never go on MSC again even thought high reciprocated level. Cancelled my last Princess cruise after my last experience of safety issues. World class problems lol
  8. You might look into bidding on an upgrade in order to get a butler but not an ideal solution TBH.
  9. This whole experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth, we are Elite Plus and really are amazed that Celebrity has started their spiral down to Carnival cruise line level. The new CEO has already made several major gaffscor mistakes, removing cookies, everyday options on the menu and had to eat crow and reverse them, but it does make me wonder what is going to be next. I understand a lot of people dont care about a butler but they still pay for a SS and expect to be able to go to the retreat and eat in the luminae what will they do if that changes before they board and they are told oh you need to go to MDR
  10. We were just on a cruise November and were told we had no butler. We ask why this wasn't conveyed to us prior to getting on and they said we should have been. We tried using our cabin Stewart the first day to get coffee every morning at 7am and that was a disaster taking 45 minutes longer to arrive along with several phone calls and being told it hadn't been registered to arrive yet they called to ask what time did we want 7 am or 7.30 that was at 7.15. Anyway it went downhill from there, we were told that there is a head butler called John who we never ever saw ,never introduced himself to us no card in the room and the dedicated "Team" was confusing to say the least who did what that your butler used to do. No central point of contact, as to food delivery, laundering, coffee, mending of buttons reservations etc etc. The new CEO had already sent out a note saying they were trying to get more "Family friendly" I spoke to her assistant and she said the cleo was furious, not that she denied the premise, and our New Orleans cruise was changed from 12 days to 8 days with three weeks to decide but we wouldn't know what the price difference would be for over three weeks so had no choice to cancel it. In the end we told the head concierge at the retreat all of this and about three days later we both got a $500 future cruise credit each. We are due to go on another jan 2024 which we booked way back in March and are going to ask first thing to clarify this team approach and to be honest I will be expecting another future cruise credit for both os us as a butler is what we expected and had paid for in our initial booking. Sorry to go on so long but that is our story. If they change access to lumina next then we are done with Celebrity I am sick of being treated as a second class suite customer when we paid for an elevated experience
  11. I sent an email that number is no longer in service and all they give it the regular number, I have been waiting 40 minutes to try to speak to someone in ocean ready department

I too am having trouble with this ridiculous app. My details are find but its my partners details that only show one cruise we have books and when I try to add it the app states it cannot find the booking number, on the one booking it does show it will not allow us to add a valid credit card either. When I go to the website on a laptop the profile shows both cruise and previous history. Also logging in using the booking number it also state the information does not match. I am now ready to cancel both the cruise in July and Nover which are 14 day ones in a suite, what a waster of time and money I have spent weeks speaking to princess with no help to fix any of the problems and I cannot believe that they cant fix this app and allow people to cancel cruises talk about losing money! Frustrated of Florida
