I get third party trip insurance, specifically from Allianz.
I believe my credit card also offers some benefit there, but I don't feel comfortable relying on that alone.

1. More spirit class ships. The size is clearly in demand and there aren't enough to go around. Make it a spirit class 2.0 with the upgrades.
2. A photo package. Luckily, I bought it for my cruise when it was available.

I get motion sickness and inside cabins don't work for me for that reason. If the cost of a balcony was prohibitive, I would personally get an oceanview.
-
I really love spirit class ships and sailing out of Tampa. Make sure you go up on deck when the ship goes under the bridge!
-
They don't use balloons so you're good on that front. Whenever we've had the decorations, we've always preferred to have the decorations up for the entire cruise. However, we decorate on our own now. Even if we aren't celebrating something.

Have you done the check-in process online? Do you have the documents that you will need for boarding (boarding pass, passport or birth certificate, photo ID)?
-
It's not worth it for me personally. I can sit with a drink while I wait for my cabin to be ready.

Is there wine glass in the room?
We always ask for a couple of wine glasses at a bar. It's never been a problem.

Personally, I will wear either a gown or dressy cocktail dress. But I also tend to dress up more than necessary on casual nights just because I enjoy it. My concern tends to be staying at the same level of formality as the people I'm cruising with so I'm not bothered if others choose to dress more casually.

Personally, for my upcoming cruise, it's not worth it. FTTF is 100.00 per cabin. It's an 8 day partial transit Panama Canal cruise with 4 sea days.
We're going to get plenty of ship time so I don't need to board super early.
There are only 2 ports. One is a tender port and we don't have any specific plans so we don't priority tendering.
Guest services is open 24/7 and I don't need to go there often anyway. I can find a time without a line.
If I'm boarding later anyway, I don't early cabin access.
I'm packing everything that i need through dinner in my carry-on suitcase. So priority luggage isn't necessary for me.
These may not be the case for you. With a shorter, more port-intensive cruise, it would be worth it more for me.

They sell cruise cash online now instead. No savings.
-
Lift the bed frame if it doesn't slide under. I haven't had any issues with my big suitcase fitting personally.
-
I pack enough, but more than others would. While I don't recall much of what other people have worn or re-worn, I'm not one to rewear things either.
To each their own.

Question 1
We are in a grand suite and will have 4 people in the room so will be using the sofa bed. Do the stewards return the sofa bed back into a sofa every day or leave it set up as a bed the entire time? I would really like to have it put away each day, so we have more space. If this is not the common practice, would it be asking too much for them to do this? (Would tip extra).
Question 2
We also have a FTTF pass because I like to be able to put luggage down. On shore days does that give you priority getting off the ship? I think I read it gives you priority tendering but wondered if that applied to leaving the ship on port days. We have an early excursion scheduled at one port and was wondering if there was some kind of priority exit available for FTTF?
Question 3
At Mr.Sanchos all-inclusive, do you tip the server every time they bring you something or one time at the end? Do you get better service if you tip each time?
Thanks!

When we used the couch as a bed, they just left it as a bed during the day. Personally, the only thing we use the couch for is as a catch all for shoes, purses, shawls, bags, etc... so that's fine with me. All they do is take the back cushions off and add sheets, pillows, comforter. So you don't actually gain any space by having it made back into a couch.
FTTF gives you priority in tender ports only. It doesn't give you priority in docked ports nor does it give you priority on tenders from port back to the ship.

8x10 prints cost 21.99 each. Liberty has not converted to digital yet.

Escargot, chateaubriand, and creme brûlée

I normally take pictures with the different back drops every night. I just sort through them for the few that I want to buy. I bought pixels max. If a picture is bad, I'm not going to waste resources to have it scanned. However, I do intend to use the package.
Carnival should have realized that these packages would be popular.

Stupid question of the day;):
How do you hang things in the bathroom while showering? I've only noticed the small rope inside the shower and the curtain has been attached to the ceiling (not on a rod). I'm guessing the hook on the door, hanging one item only? We usually keep the bathroom door open when showering (just hubby and I in the cabin) so it doesn't get too steamy.
Thanks!
Hang it on the back of the door. I let it get nice and steamy in there and it does the trick.

Go for it!

I hang things in the bathroom while I shower. It steams the wrinkles right out.

Glad I already bought it. With 8 nights, we'll easily get our money's worth.

I'm going on the Feb. 2019 carnival miracle 8 day partial transit. I'm in my 30s so looks like I'll be one of the youngsters. Good thing I get along with older people!
Does anyone happen to have copies of the fun times? I'm curious about the activities on board with all the sea days.
-
No it's not on the beach. But it's much closer to the beach than lido deck.
-
It's barbecue outside on a gorgeous beach. Personally, I wouldn't waste time tendering back to the ship for anything else.

No medical coverage. Given that medical coverage is what we have needed to use trip insurance for in the past, that would not work for me. I looked and the trip insurance benefit through my credit card is pretty limited.
