We are part of MSC club but don't have a card. How do we go about getting one or do we need it?

thats strange that safety briefing was broadcast over whole ship each time. When we sailed on the Armonia in 2013 most people embarked in Venice but some the following day. The safety briefing for those people was held in the theatre so rest of ship wasn't disrupted.

hi. Has anyone gotten a travel cot on msc? We're sailing on Fantasia in July and have requested a cot. Have they mattress on them or just the standard hard mattress? Just want to see if I need to bring some more padding for cot if there isn't a separate mattress on it

Had a look on aquarium website and its def cheaper to book ourselves. Plus tickets can be booked online in advance so hopefully that'll save queuing.

Tickets are free for kids up to 5

The Irish website has been down since at least Saturday for booking. All other parts seem to work okay.

I thought my phone was acting up loading site. It's v annoying not being able to view cruises

I asked travel agent as might do some sightseeing in Barcelona if we've time. Our flight leaves dublin at 6.15am and gets to Barcelona at 9.50am so once we can organise luggage storage and transfers etc well spend time sightseeing in Barcelona.

We love the sun but with our son we wouldn't be spending the day lying out anyway.

Rang Travel agent and she rang msc for us so they've put a note on file apparently if any regular balcony rooms become available they'll change us.

But not holding out too much hope. Annoyed now I didn't know about the different balconies when we booked as would have asked.

Thanks. Not really liking the look of that balcony. We had planned to spend time sitting out during day when our little boy is napping and also at night when he's asleep. Hoping we can get it changed.

Another q if you don't mind. Are there highchairs on board? I was pregnant on last cruise we took so didn't take much notice of likes of highchairs even though I probably should have!

Great to hear of someone else who has brought a child that age.

We will have our then 18 month old with us when we cruise in July. Looking at the excursion programme and wondering does the child price apply to infants or is it just for children over a certain age. Can't seem to see an answer on msc site so hoping someone here will know.

After weeks looking at ships/prices/routes etc we finally booked the MSC Fantasia for July.

Any tips? We'll be travelling with a then 18 month old. We went for a balcony cabin and have been assigned 10025. Anyone know is this a decent room?

Route is Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina, Valletta, Majorca and back to Barcelona.

Any excursions/things to see which are worth doing at any of the stops?

Anyone know what type of sports it shows? We're trying to book cruise for summer but British open golf on same week we can go and my husband doesn't want to miss it. Prob a long shot that the sports bar would show bbc sports.
