My wife has always made sure to hit the soft serve several times on each cruise. The last two cruises (since the restart) she has only had it once on each cruise and said it was definitely not good and not how it used to be. She was definitely disappointed.

I agree, the soft serve doesn’t taste anything like it used to.

It tastes oily to me.. such a disappointment…

The cruises are actually 32 days and they are on the Sapphire.

Since French Polynesia has blocked all large ships from stopping at Bora Bora Princess has replaced that stop with two ports in Fiji.

Also only 2 ports in Hawaii so it looks like a lot more sea days than on the old 28 day trips.

I'm hoping there are some overnights in this itinerary but we'll see on the 9th.

Are these different than the March and November itinerary on the Crown next year?

Not insulted.  Just frustrated with the app. Actually was hoping there was a more recent update then 3.0.99687

@Techwizardressyes you can get it 50% off onboard BUT pre-boarding it's 50% off $9.95 day, onboard it's 50% off $14.95. So $2.50 per day more

Am I understanding this correct? The 50% off price is 9.95 per day

Not 50% off of the 9.95

A 10 day cruise would be 100.00 with the discount

This is what happens to my mind when I haven’t been onboard for 2 years.

    Hi...😎

We’ve booked a river cruise, and a Princess Land/cruise in Aug of 2022.

We’ll have to wait till 2023 for this one...

You could always book the 2023 one too..🤓🤓

I posted my refund experience in another thread but I'll repeat it here.

We were booked on the Sky Princess for our April 4th cruise out of Fort Lauderdale with our three grandkids. We booked two cabins with two different booking numbers. We also took out a travel policy with Allianz for the grandkids. We have a separate annual travel policy with Allianz

We booked and paid for two travel excursions in December 2019 and made final payment for the two bookings in early February 2020.

Princess cancelled our cruise in early March.

We chose option 2 and that showed up in our personalizer in a couple of weeks.

We had spoken with a Princess Customer Service Rep shortly after Princess cancelled our cruise in March inquiring about the refund of the cruise fare for the two cabins. She told us it could take up to 60 days for the refund.

Everything is paid for on my Barclays Princess Visa card

Knowing that most credit cards require any disputes be filed within 60 days, I initiated a credit card dispute of all my Princess charges first over the telephone receiving two case numbers and following up in writing on their web site.

On Friday I received all of the funds back on my Princess Visa Card and now have a very substantial credit.

    Very happy

For those that think that they are just going to receive their money back automatically from Princess without filing a credit card dispute you may be waiting a long time or forever.

    Hope this helps

Our final payment was due and paid in Dec. for a April 4th cruise.

Princess cancelled our cruises in March ...60 days had already passed since making payment am I correct in assuming by your post that Barclays Princess VISA CC

waived the 60 day requirement to make a claim...?

    Thanks

Wow I am sorry if folks are feeling upset........That's not good for my heart you know.😉

Anyway due to mixed reaction I did phone Princess again. This gal was extremely honest and told me just earlier this week the 'Under chronic conditions' was taken off the list. There again she said she did not have an answer for me and to contact when our wonderful Covid 19 has decided to push off to another planet and leave ours alone I made this last bit up by the way😏. So they really don't have the answer yet. At least there is hope in the future I can again sit on deck reading my Patterson mystery ,watch the waves and folks pass  by.

No opinion yet on what lies ahead for those of us that love cruising.

No one knows including Princess what the future looks like.

I just want to chime in on your AFib diagnosis. I have had AFib since my early 30’s

I’m now in my 60’s. It’s scary at first for sure just wrapping your head around that kind of a diagnosis out of the Blue is overwhelming.

But I assure you with the right medications life goes on pretty much the same.

My cardiologist knows my cruise addiction and  has no problem with me continuing to do so. My hope is you get comfortable with it and continue to do what you love to.

    Wishing you all the best

We would like a Trans Pacific from Sydney to Los Angeles. That could hit Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, and Pago Pago, then on to Hawaii before ending up in San Pedro. Sounds great to us!

The Ruby is doing this in April next year. 2020

only thing is they aren’t doing Bora Bora, what a shame. We had such fun with Patrick when we all did the Emerald in 2017 Best Cruise we’ve ever had

I just wanted advice from the cc members. I know this is a doctor discussion, but just wanted feedback. I kind of feel like an idiot now.

I see many of you all lived with AFIB for years, but my husband wants to be back to normal without meds. We see dr Wednesday with a ton of questions

It’s great you asked advice, it’s different for everyone and can be scary in the beginning.

just wanted you to know it’s manageable it doesn’t have to change the things he enjoys.

Wish you both all the best

Just to be clear, if you are a US citizen traveling to Australia for tourism, you are applying for an Electronic Travel Authority.  (There is no such thing as an Australian Electronic Passport).   You should apply on the official Australian government website,  https://www.eta.homeaffairs.gov.au/ETAS3/etas and not some 3rd party website.  The cost is A$ 20 (which comes to about US$ 14.)

Thank you just what I was looking for.

Sometimes those 3rd party sites look very official and add extra costs
