I'm so sorry but I'm booked solid the 20th.. Most tour operators have their vehicles contracted out to electrical companies.. I haven't been so lucky..

oK.. After much frustration... I was able to rebook cruise on the July 31st 2017 date.. same cabin.. same perks! Actually, Hal gave us an additional $100 OBC for the change. I was able to rebook our hotel with no penalties, and our friends are redoing their stuff to accommodate our change of dates...

This morning I redid all of our check-in stuff.. ie passports and updating credit card on file.. Soooo.. Life is Good! Thanks all for your great feedback, suggestions and empathy. Jo-Anna

dakrewser... we choose HAL because of it being a smaller ship, less children and perks for Mariner status. Will find out details of changing dates tomorrow.

looking into going later... do not really want to go in mid July...

we do this cruise every year.. this will be our 8th on HAL to Alaska

Just spoke to my travel agent.. he says he has NOT been notified yet.. When I spoke to HAL over an hour ago.. they told me he WAS notified and approved the change on Sept. 1, 2016! Still in a tizzy.. as our friends have put in for their vacation times so we could hook up.. Now this extends to them all having to redo their plans

I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THE DATE CHANGES TOO.. from ..on HAL Alaska July 23, 2017 ( to July 17th, 2017 )ALREADY BOOKED AND PAID FOR HOTEL.. SET UP BEING ABLE TO CONNECT WITH FRIENDS IN SEATTLE, HOMER AND VICTORIA! No one even notified us of these changes!! I am really pissed off!
