I booked the rafting through the ship
-
Thanks
I don't like wearing the suit coats and then to have to pack it.....
Thanks for the answers
-
So I have read on a blog that on formal nights Men's suit coats and or ties are optional.
Is this the case?
Would Dress pants, button up collard shirt, vest and bow tie be ok?
-
Unbelievably, these are all exactly the same excursions as I picked. What are the chances of that??? We might better play the lottery!
That is kind of crazy
We just booked a Ketchikan Float Plane
-
We have two excursions booked currently
Skagway - Train ride to the summit and then ride bikes down
Juneau - See the glacier and raft ride down the river.
The seaplane flight in Ketchikan is starting to look more like we may make it happen.

How much time should we plan on for dinners so we don't miss the shows.
Longer time for formal nights?
When you set up your My Time Dinning like the night before do you usually get in at the time you set up or do you end up waiting for a little while to be seated?
-
We have booked the My Time Dinning package. Just wondering how much time we should plan on eating so we can properly plan to see the show each night.
Do the formal night dinner's take longer too?
-
Just looking for some advice on excursions you enjoyed while on your Alaskan cruise that don't break the bank. Not looking for all free stuff but just some things we don't want to miss. We are leaving soon and can't wait for our first cruise.
Looking for ideas for
Ketchikan
Skagway
Icy Strait Port
Juneau
Thanks

I remember seeing an article a few months ago on Radiance as being a top 10 food.
-
we are in room 8002 for our upcoming Alaska cruise on Radiance
Thanks for sharing the photos.

There is always steak in the dining room.
Lobster is served on formal night. On cruises when there are two formal nights, lobster is generally the second formal night.
Here is a link to the menus:

Thanks
That menu is making me hungry.

Does the regular dinning room on this ship serve stake and lobster any of the nights?
Just wondering what kinds of food are on the menu?
-
Are we talking about the ship the Radiance of the Seas?
-
The aurora theater. Even read a cabin suggestion Web site that mentioned it
-
Strange cause when I look at deck 6 plan there are no rooms below it but the large theater
-
The room is still there and the theater is still below it.
This is one of the only threads I found mentioning that room.
Thought I would give it a try and ask.
-
Thanks, new to cruses
Have our first one coming up in June!!!
-
It looks like it is above the theater.
Did you hear much noise from the shows?
-
Do the rooms have a thermostat that you can adjust to make get the room to your comfort level?
-
Thanks
Never been on a cruise I have so many questions.......
Glad places like this are here to ask them.
-
That is the same room just on the opposite side of the ship - Thanks for your help. So glad we booked early enough to get the bigger room.
-
Was 8506 pretty quiet?
Not a lot of noise from above or below.......?
We have that room booked for Alaska later this year
-
Thanks. Do they do more than one show a night?
Also do they do formal dinner nights?
