The 4th person always has the bed from the ceiling - if the cabin has it.

 

What is a 'bed from the ceiling'? - has anyone got a picture or video of what the family balcony room looks like when all the beds are made up? We are similar to OP, two adults & two teens. I know it will be tight but we don't intend to spend much time in the room. thanks. Jade

hi, I just booked Norwegian Epic today for first ever cruise in June 2016 in Western Med with husband and 2 teens. First stop is Naples. Wondering if it is possible to do Pompeii as a self-guided tour, and if so, where is a good place to research how to do it? Or similarly, can Vesuvius be done as self-guided and is it a good option in June or too strenuous/hot? all tips and hints v.welcome, thanks.

Hi, we have never cruised before but am thinking of a Med cruise for 2016 with husband and teens 16 (boy) and 13 (girl). Have done a little research and am thinking of either Royal Caribbean or MSC. The latter have have kids-go-free which sounds great for the budget, while the RC ships sound best for wow-ing the teens. Wondering which cruise line and which cabin option/'experience' you would recommend?
