Answering my own question...sorry, in my excitement I realized the answer was already out there on the Event Info document - in case anyone else wonders the same, the Event Info document says that disembarkation is, "Scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude by11:00 a.m."
So I don't expect that a 12:30pm flight will present any issues.
Keep in mind that it's between 30 to 45 minutes to the airport...

I called to ask that exact question and after spending 40 minutes on the phone with them they told me that there was only 10 reservations made for the ship and that the rest will be made after the registration closes. I wasn’t asking for any reason other than because I need to book an air fare because we’re inside the seven day timeframe there is no cancellation . And I live 2800 miles away from Seattle so I want the confirmation before I book the airfare and hotel
The attachment we got says that they will be disembarking as late as 11:00 am, so we scheduled our flights for a little after 1:00 pm.

I'm on the 4 December 2021 sailing and it still shows up in My Cruises... it also shows for sale normally, so I think it was just some sort of computer glitch.

The cash refund is only available for sailings that have had the official protocols issued. At this point, they only have protocols issued for sailings through the end of August.

I'm on the August 13, 2021 Ovation of the Seas cruise to Alaska. I didn't receive that e-mail (yet) for our cruise, but indeed when I log in to my account and look at the times in My Calendar, they've been updated just as described above. But none of the Shore Excursions have been updated! So now we're arriving in Juneau at 2:00 p.m. where we have a 12:30 p.m. tour scheduled. D'oh!
They did say that it would take them a few days to update the excursion times for the new port times... Keep an eye on it, I'll bet you'll see new times on your calendar by the end of next week.

Why is a test cruise needed for a 95% vac passenger cruise?
Vaccines required for everyone 12+ beginning 1 August 2021 on Seattle departures, but because of the amount of kids potentially onboard they can't guarantee hitting that 95% threshold

We are on the same sailing, but didn’t get an e-mail. Although.... we haven’t booked excursions yet. Are you able to take a pic of your letter? Or post what the new port times are?
Dear Guest,
We're looking forward to welcoming you onboard Ovation of the Seas for our cruise. As we countdown to your sailing, we have an itinerary change to share with you.
As part of the guidance received from the CDC, we've implemented new boarding protocols and we'll need some extra time for check-in. As a result, we'll now depart from Seattle, Washington at 6:00 PM, instead of 4:00 PM, and we've adjusted our time in Juneau and Skagway, Alaska. Separately, to enhance your experience, we've added extra time in Sitka, Alaska, giving you extra time to explore this beautiful destination. We know how much time and effort go into planning your cruise with us, and we're sorry for any inconvenience caused by this. However, we know you'll have an excellent time. Below, please find our revised itinerary.

Get ready to experience Alaska - the last frontier! In Juneau, you'll be instantly greeted by majestic views and rich culture around every corner. With its snowcapped mountains, misty rainforests, massive glaciers and bounty of wildlife, Alaska's remote state capital is the perfect place to dive into nature. Then in Skagway, take an old-time streetcar ride along bustling Broadway Street to see well-preserved buildings, or check out the engraved walrus tusks at the Corrington Museum. If outdoor adventure is more your thing, there are plenty of ways to amp up the adrenaline, from sledding with Alaskan Huskies on Laughton Glacier to rafting Lynn Canal, the longest fjord in North America. After that, we'll head to Sitka, where you can venture into the National Historical Park to trace the town's early beginnings and native heritage. See indigenous artifacts, watch a documentary film, and walk the mile-long Totem Trail. Whatever you decide to do, these destinations have endless opportunities for any adventure seeker!
As a reminder, we kindly ask that you arrive to the port during your pre-selected check-in window. This is imperative to ensure minimal wait time and less crowds during the boarding process.
Our Shore Excursions team will automatically reschedule any pre-paid Royal Caribbean International shore excursions booked impacted by this change. In the next few days, your updated tour information will be e-mailed to you. If you haven't booked your shore excursions yet, be sure to check out our Cruise Planner for your options to discover adventure in these exciting destinations.
Thanks for your understanding. We can't wait to welcome you onboard Ovation of the Seas!
Sincerely,
Aurora Yera-Rodriguez

I'm on one of the earlier Ovation sailings... the letter I got says that they will be rescheduling any shore excursions you booked with them, so if you have RCCL excursions you should be fine.

My question is how do I download the app? I am assuming I can find it in the app store.
There are a couple of Apps - the one they are using is titled "Royal Caribbean International" in the App Store.
They are strongly encouraging guests to use it... it has the check-in, but it's also where they will push out notifications and the health questionnaire and safety briefing (fka muster) will be done through it.

Is the original vaccination card needed? Can a photo of it on your phone be sufficient? Or should one print out the immunization record from their physician's office or medical records?
They covered this in their webinar last week - Original vaccination card is required

Good Morning - I got up early to watch her arrive! The news crew was there also. So excited to see a cruise ship in Seattle again! She's here for six weeks before her first cruise August 13th. I'll be on her!
My husband and I will be on the 13 August 2021 sailing as well... REALLY looking forward to it!!

It should go to your TA... They seem to be slow sending out the emails for the cancellations announced yesterday, I haven't received them for my clients impacted.
According to the announcement, they are offering Lift and Shift for those cancellations:
LIFT & SHIFT - Our Lift & Shift option is perfect for your clients who simply wish to move their existing reservation to next year, while protecting their original cruise fare and promotion. Select a qualifying cruise in 2022 on the same itinerary, sailing length, embarkation port, stateroom category and departing within +/- 2-weeks of the original cruise date. Then, give us a call and we’ll take care of the rest!

This will certainly mess up some people’s Crystal Block collection strategy.
Does anyone still have a valid Crystal Block strategy??? Mine's been in the garbage since April. I'll revisit it once we start sailing again.

John has been the fill in HD on Empress and Grandeur. Basically has been doing 2 months on each ship and then 2 months vacation. I am out of sync on his current schedule.
We were just on Empress... John is there through the end of this month and then is going back to Grandeur.
He mentioned they have new hotel directors on both Empress and Grandeur, so he's going back and forth between the two.

Just off Freedom (B2B) yesterday and the earliest they let you on was 11:30am the first week and the second week was about 12:15...Coast Guard check made it a bit later.
Do you (or anyone that's sailed Freedom from San Juan recently) happen to remember what time they started self-disembark?

Official recommended flight times from RCCL for your sailing are 11:30 if flying from FLL and 12:30 if flying from MIA

It's getting harder all the time not to duplicate blocks.

I believe the OP is on the same sailing that we are... We're fortunate that Radiance is the only ship in Vancouver on 17 May 2019.
-
I'm guessing you are coming in from Hawaii on Radiance with us since the flights for 17 May 2019 just opened today. ;)
We booked our flights this afternoon and I booked a flight that leaves at 1:00 PM. We've done the first cruise into Vancouver several times, and I think 1:00 is perfect.
We had an 11:15 booked several years ago and made it by the skin of our teeth, but there was a delay getting the ship cleared AND the airport was being remodeled so it was a mess. We got to the gate just as they started boarding.
We may take the Light Rail... super easy... and we have enough time.

They released Empress Cuba sailings for April/May 2019 a few weeks ago. We're booked on an 8 night sailing on 13 April 2019 that visits the two new Cuba ports and also does an overnight in Havana.

We were in a GS (1586) on Navigator a few weeks ago... we did not have a game system in our cabin.
It's possible that they may just have them in some of the cabins at this point... they may just be removing them instead of replacing them when they break down.

Earliest flight time RCCL allows for transfers to the airport when sailing out of Venice is 11:00 AM.
Pinnacle Recognition Received On Sailing When Hitting 700 Points? or Following Sailing?

Recognition typically happens on the cruise where you hit 700 points. They have changed the recognition ceremony since the C&A/Top Tier gatherings aren't currently happening... they are planning to do the recognition on the Morning Show.
