  1. There are 2 parents and 2 kids cruising.... if the 2 parents buy 2 wifi packages, can we choose who gets wifi access each day? For example, can we give the kids the 2 wifi accounts in the morning? Then maybe mom takes a wifi in the afternoon and dad takes one too? Or is the wifi assigned to a particular device?

You just need to log off one device before logging into the other one. Its not assigned to a particular device the entire time

  2. Not to hijack the thread but rather to continue the Bogo & dining discussion on Anthem....

We too booked bogo for our party of 3. It was $39 Cdn per person, which we thought was still a good value for trying the venues. We were assigned Chops on night one and Jamie's for night 2 both at 7pm. There was a letter in our stateroom when we arrived. We were happy with the choices and times and also with the meals. They were very good.

For the rest of the week, I had pre-booked 5 nights at Coastal Kitchen. We ended up cancelling 3 of those. The food was quite good but honestly the service was terrible. It's such a nice room but it didn't make up for the service. We tried MTD one night as there was a desk for suites to walk up and not wait. Two nights we actually ate at the Windjammer and thought they did a decent buffet. Yes, it's busy even at dinner but like others advise, if you go to the back it's quiet. Overall we were very happy with the Anthem's dining varieties and food quality. We've sailed Celebrity, MSC, NCL & Carnival all more than once and thought this was our favourite thus far. Just a couple extra thoughts for everyone :)

    Thanks for the feedback.

  3. You may be right, but as I mentioned in my post above, if the price does go down, you can cancel and rebook, but if you see what is called a "30% off sale" Chances are it will be the lowest price you will see.

Unless they have that great sale that was named the "sip & stream." It came up to 64cad for me, for the deluxe plan and internet plan. I missed it by one day and wasnt able to take advantage of it. When I called they said the deal expired. Others said RCL told them it was a glitch  It was only 3 dollars more than the deluxe plan.

I'm just saying though, why give them your money 12 months out? Just wait until a couple of months out before doing so

  4. Thank you for the review. It takes a lot of dedication that I never have lol. I havent had a chance to read through the entire thread yet, so maybe you already answered this question... did ifly have a standby line? We werent able to get any reservations for earlier on in the day and just took a later booking. Also what days were the formal nights?

Goodness you hit the gym in the wee hours. Reading your review makes me want to hit the gym too lol. How crowded was it early in the morning?

  5. Your post about preference actually quoted a post discussing changing them MID week. As in, not weekly, but more often. And you said it was preference.

    This is what you quoted.

"Why in the world would anyone need them changed during the week? ....why would you change your sheets during the week at all? That's so wasteful, I hope they don't do that."

And the person you've been going back and forth with is the person that wrote that (about changes more often than weekly), so I'm sure she thought that's what you were saying was simply down to preference.

Well I'm referring to weekly. In that very same post I mentioned about them being changed weekly. I am telling you right now that I'm referring to them being changed weekly.

  6. Id be surprised if it was the norm for people to change/wash their sheets more than once a week. I wash mine at home once a week, sometimes less, and when I've mentioned that to other people they think I'm insane and tell me they do it once a month. That's a small sample obviously, but if it's so common for people to change their sheets that often, I'd think I would have met at least one person that says they wash their sheets every 2 or 3 days by now. Why would a cruise ship cater to such a small population of people by changing sheets every day or two, which is hugely wasteful of water and other resources & totally unnecessary for being clean, instead of just waiting for those two or 10 rooms to request it. Anyone who says they require someone else to wash and change their sheets because they smell and feel different is unlikely to be taking that much effort on their own at home [emoji57]

I'm referring to washing them weekly.

When I'm talking frequent, I'm thinking weekly. I dont wash mine weekly thats for sure, because its basically a full day's job to do that with the many layers of sheets. I dont expect my sheets changed during vacation daily either or weekly. We are going on a 12 day cruise and as long as its changed from the last guests, I'm completely fine with that.

  7. No what you mentioned was some peoples preference to wash sheets daily and that is wasteful, period.

No I think I know what I said, you just quoted me in the above post about them being washed weekly. I mentioned about them being washed weekly, nowhere did I mentioned about them being washed daily.

What people do with their lives is their preference, and I'm not one to judge.
