  1. We was on this cruise, and I had no issue with the food in the MDR, other than the sides being the same every night.

Yorkshire pudding, Buttered Potatoes and cauliflower cheese.

13 nights it did start to feel a little samey, and we had 4 nights eating in speciality - maybe that was the reason.

But we felt the food was good - I have attached a couple of photos - as always they never seem to do it justice - the lobster I was disappointed with.

  2. i think there is a misudertanding.

I believe you are talking about the daily tips of $17.50 per day rather than the tips associated with the drinks package.

the all included package is better value than just buying the drinks package - even with the wifi which you say you wont use.

  3. We did this last summer - we waited until most people had got off the ship, and the taxis knew most of the bigger fares had gone - then it was 25 euros for 4 in a taxi to the train station - then train to Pisa

it was cheaper than the NCL shuttle this way and we had plenty of time at Pisa.

On way back from station it was a case of flagging or getting a taxi which was dropping off.

We needed two taxis as there was 8 of us and it was no real hassle.

I was quite specific with my question.

You were specific with your question, in the same way they were specific with their answer....

As long as you have checked in online - I think this aspect is impossible with a charter flight (I wish it could be done - if you manage please let me know).

  5. I have been unable to check in on line, I fly chartered from Birmingham

My parents who are flying from Manchester have been able to check in online - there flight is scheduled.

I think this sums it up - check flight radar for your flight number....this will show if it flys the same route daily - this will be scheduled.

The other way is to do a false booking enquiry on Jet2 - to see what flights are available on the date you fly - if your flight isnt their then its either sold out or its chartered.

Thankyou to everyone who has taken the time to reply, we are staying in a hotel the night before ( Britannia or Doubletree ) so we can take advantage of using jet2 twilight check in , I did not want to book a hotel just in case flight was changed.

    Many thanks once again.

Sorry what's the Jet2 twilight check in....

We are on the same cruise as you, but flight is from Birmingham and I am contemplating a hotel for the night before - if there is an option to check in early and leave the luggage that would make the hotel stay more attractive.

  7. I was on the epic 7th Aug for a week.

I didnt see them doing anything to rectify the problem with the H20 and spice area.

I believe the issue is soot from the funnels, falling on customers - but cant confirm.

Given that no apparent work seems to be being done - this may continue for sometime.

As a result of the closure - the pool bar is very busy - they do try and do a pop up bar to ease - but for us the $50 OBC was a joke - has the impact was of such that the pool area is very busy.
