If you are going to be in Miami for 10 days, will you be renting a car? If so, put your luggage in the trunk and enjoy your day until you can check into your hotel or Airbnb. The other option, which I have done, is book the hotel or Airbnb for an extra night (your final night of the cruise). Just be sure to let them know in advance that you won't be checking in until the morning.
