  1. Spice H2O is included, we have been there on the Epic twice before and will be traveling on the Escape this time.

We found it quiet and children free, we both like to read on holiday. If children did try and get in they were quickly shooed away by the staff. Like others have said there are plenty of places for children on the ship and I appreciate an adults only area and it is one of the reasons we like NCL.

I cannot comment on Vibe as we have never been there.

We are both in our 40s.

  2. We have flown twice before from Heathrow to Miami and arranged it ourselves. We have never found any other British cruisers either on board.

We are doing a back to back in January 2016 on the Escape. The flight cruise package from NCL was very expensive and they couldn't even tell me which airline it would be with.

We have Premium economy Heathrow to Miami return for £880 each. My other half flies weekly for work normally with BA and has gold status so fingers crossed for an upgrade!

We fly in the night before, need to book a hotel still.

  3. We have taken wine onboard the Epic a couple of times and paid the corkage. We have flown in from the UK a couple of days before and rented a car and have been able to go to a supermarket. Chilean wine seems to be very cheap in Florida and what would cost me $25-$30 in the UK was about $8!

We also brought a bottle of rum, 1.75L in the Caribbean, didn't hide it coming back on the ship and were allowed to take it to our cabin.

Also had some duty free from the UK in our checked bags (no we were not trying to smuggle!) and were not pulled up on it either.

When you go through there is a table and they put stickers on the bottles and charge your room.

The thing that made me laugh was I took a bottle of red wine to Le Bistro one evening, the waiter took it, uncorked it and offered me it to try. Not sure what they would have done if it was corked etc. as I brought it on myself!

No need this year as we have the UBP! :-)

  4. We sailed the Epic as our first ever cruise and loved it so much we went again. We then went on Royal Caribbean (at my sister's request) and did not like it. Really enjoyed the multiple dining options on NCL, bars and entertainment.

People will always shout loudest about what they don't like! Enjoy, have fun. It's a beautiful boat and if anything is wrong speak to the service desk onboard they will do their utmost to fix it.

I would sail on her again in a heartbeat :-)
