16 night Panama Canal Port Everglades to San Diego on HAL sailing Jan 5. 

I enjoy the DL in the mornings.  I'll have coffee and some fruit and cold cereal for breakfast. Keeps me out of the hash browns and sausages I shouldn't eat daily.

Ships older than Oasis class have nice views from the DL.

We sailed Explorer in an aft Junior Suite on deck 7. No problems there with noise and vibrations. Navigator may be different.

Tree Limin' Extreme is a fantastic zip line facility.  They were an official Royal excursion in 2019 when we went on my 60th birthday.

10 or 12 years ago C&A changed my wife's number. I noticed it a couple of days before a cruise because ours were sequential originally and I saw the change when looking at boarding docs. I called and they said "You don't want that old number back" probably because it was reassigned to a Gold. 

The new number had her proper points and history. It's always best to call if there's any question about those C&A numbers.

I didn't see any Talosians in the design video, but maybe Royal is keeping their aliens in Area 270.

Gladys's in St Thomas is our favorite. The bus drops you off just a few steps from the door.

We had lolo outdoors by the bay in Grand Case.

We are near newbie Mariner members with one 7 night Alaska cruise sailed 6 years ago. We are sailing Zaandam Panama Canal early next year and booked when Zuiderdam was the scheduled ship. We booked a balcony cabin, and of course Zaandam doesn't have those so we were transferred to a Vista Suite.

Being an avid RCI cruiser I know they don't confer double points on low cost suite upgrades. Would HAL be doubling our points?

The second best Diamond perk is having a concierge in the Diamond Lounge. They can do everything Guest Services can do except cash transactions. 

I think the two day car rental idea is good if the Amtrak bus arrives in Seattle too late for kickoff.

If you can't get a one-way car rental just rent a car and return it to Vancouver then take the bus back to Seattle for your flight home on Monday.

Better to try for the last two or three nights. I've received 30% and 40% off, but that wasn't on megaships, and they were sending staff through the Windjammer at lunch trying to get customers. 

I've never stayed in a CPB cabin, but when I walk through CP the smells of all of those different immigrants' cooking on their balconies is quite distasteful.

No blocked views forward of the front elevators on 7. 

Yes, phone in airplane mode. Not much simpler to use a tablet. Two taps (or so) to put a phone in airplane mode.

I'm with Janet524. We enjoyed the open bus tour as well as lunch on the beach in Nevis in February. Lunch was included. 

There will probably be someone outside the Windjammer when you board.
