Do the laundry machines on the Island require quarters or can we use our cruise card?

Does anyone know if the Island laundry machines take quarters or if you can use your cruise card? Thanks

I guess it depends at what time of year you cruise. We try and go when most children are in school [emoji3]

We stayed in M705 aft section, loved it , great location very quiet . We just booked the same cabin for Feb

It seems that guest services submit a report after every sailing??

I called princess about one month ago as I was concerned about the vibration issue in the new aft cabins. I finally spoke with a supervisor who checked the complaint logs since the May 22 sailing ( after dry dock ) and according to her the only complaints that were recorded , had to due with noise coming from the teen centre! We are sailing Sept 19th, keeping my fingers crossed that any vibration won't be any worse than other ships' aft cabins!

I email them about two weeks ago, they actually called me within 48 hours. Great customer service! Everything was handled perfectly!

We had one on the Ruby and will never do that again! We like to have breakfast on the balcony and the lack of privacy made it uncomfortable!

We shall be embarking next week and our room is actually one of the new aft cabins. I get motion sickness very easily so I am quite worried about these vibrations! Atone point I thought the problem had been solved since no one mentioned it again! Any one been there recently after propulsion problem?

Is anyone on here booked in these new cabins on upcoming cruises?

We were on the Regal in March , Marina deck ,similar location to the new cabins on the Lido, we felt some vibration but we got used to it. I hope it isn't worse on the Island!!!

Let me start this up again.....if anyone has info about vibration issues in the new cabins on the Lido.....please share....

Thank you for your comments. I have also read the fact that there is no overhang. We had the same issue on the Ruby, Dolphin deck mini- suite ,however that was in the Caribbean and we would not do that again. The fact that this cruise on the Island is in Sept and port intensive it will be fine. We recently sailed on the Regal and were on the Marina deck, we enjoy the high decks, a slight vibration but no biggie . I will be nice to have a new cabin!

Does anyone have any comments about the new cabins on the Lido deck? We are sailing in Sept, 2015 and have booked one of these balcony cabins. We have final payment fast approaching and any chances would need to be made prior. Thanks

We are also in on of the new cabins on the Lido deck. I was also concerned that the balcony was not covered. We are sailing in Sept , I think most of the teens should be in school, and most days will be in port....should not be a problem....we like to be on the high decks , however we do feel the vibrations , but other than that it's nice and quiet and great views!!!!

I guess that "the majority " would be loyal Princess cruisers. If we are just talking about the Princess ships , then I would have to agree that the Regal was better than other Princess ships than we have sailed on. We found that the quality has improved over the past few years. It will be our first time on the Island , we usually prefer the larger ships . To each his own! And happy sailings to all!!

Yes , I was on Regal in March! Buffet was average. We have sailed Costa, Celebrity , RCL, NCL and Princess

Buffet on Celebrity wins hands down over RCL and / or Princess IMO.....however it isn't a deal breaker! We are sailing on the Princess a Island in Sept ....because of the itinerary ...

I say you don't miss ,what you don't know!!.... And change is a good thing!! Though scary to some it seems....every ship has it's pros and cons!!....in Europe we chose itinerary over the ship and in the Caribbean we chose the ship!!!.... Works for us!!!
