Appreciate this is guesswork on your behalf, but I am confused. We sail From Italy on 30 July, so can you tell me which dates you think will be our formal nights please (or anybody who has a better maths brain than me).
Thanks in advance
Parramatta
31 July - Naples
03 august - Palma de mallorca
For other people sailing from Rome, I would expect it to be on the day the ship is in Naples and Palma de Mallorca.

We are also on the Allure doing the Med in October. I'm not sure which nights will be formal since some passengers will be embarking in Barcelona and some in Rome. I have a feeling the standard formal nights may be different on this itinerary. If someone knows I'd appreciate this information, as well.
This is guess work from my part but Rome is considered an Interport Sailing while the cruise dates from Barcelona are considered Masterport.
All things are scheduled in line with the masterport sailing so I would assume the formal dinners will be the same.
So for ajdude's reservation I expect their first formal night to be 13th June and 15th.
Again. This is speculation that they keep formal nights as according to the schedule from their Master voyage from Barcelona.
And a general tip for people sailing on Allure from Rome. Things in Cruise planner and online check in will have their cutoff days counting from the Barcelona sailing before your arrival. Make sure you do online check in and any extra orders well in advance.
"Cruise Planner products and services are normally available online up to 4 days prior to the sail date.
For interporting guests, the booking window will remain at 4 days prior to the master sail date. So the actual cut off date for an interporting guest will vary depending on their embarkation date as compared to the master sailing embarkation date. "

You can cancel and get a credit to your CC.
I believe you have to cancel a certain number of days before the cruise, something like 3 or 4.
Officially 4 days. But with timezones in reality this can be 5 days instead. (Everything counts toward time in the US)
Also. You can not transfer beverage package to another person. Even if you call RCI they would have to cancel and refund it.

The standard form for a 7 night cruise is day 2 and day 6 of the cruise.
There is a section about it under What to pack

Psygist.
Are you going to be going with Allure of the Seas in Europe?
With the remake to dynamic dining style there have been a lot of isses with booking dining as it just have not been available.
Generally RCI tries to make dining reservations available 90 days before sailing.
So by these standards you should already be able to make reservations.
The secondary target is 50 days before because this is when they start placing the speciffic guests on the dining tables.
If you can not make your reservations then either contact RCI or your travel partner and they can send requests over to Miami to make the reservations you want/need.
In your requests you can also specify if you wish a speciffict seating arrangement but that can only be requested 50 days before the sailing.

Yes, Sorry Suekay. I did missread the guests question.
Yes you can choose to have it served at another place. If you want the ship to hold and handle the wine you bring so it can be served either at dinner or through one of the other bars then you can speak with guest relations about it and they will arrange it.
So after dinner then you can either ask them to store it for next day or have it delivered. If nothing is mentioned then by default they will store it for the next day and the staff will ask the next day if you want keep drinking from your own wine bottle :)

An answer given by the customer support.
"Wine can be taken from the dining room to the guests’ stateroom if they would like to finish the bottle later. Also unopened bottles from their package can be taken home with them at disembarkation time."

Policy wise.
You are allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine/champagne on board on embarkation day.
(Beer and spirits are not allowed)
According to policy
This is taken from the alcohol policy for Royal.
"Guests are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages (other than 2 bottles of wine or champagne) onboard for consumption or any other use. Alcoholic beverages that are purchased in ports of call or from onboard shops will be stored by the ship and delivered to guest staterooms on the last day of the sailing. Security may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.) and will dispose of containers holding alcohol. Royal Caribbean's Guest Conduct Policy may be enforced, up to and including disembarkation, if a guest violates any alcohol policy. Guests under the age of 21 will not have alcohol returned to them.
However this is just what the policy say and what can happen.
On a normal day this policy is viewed in a more relaxed fashion but on more special days they will enforce the rule more strictly.
I have heard stories of people able to bring a variety of different beverages from Water up to whiskey. And while this may be true I would not depend on it.
