  1. We are deeply into planning our two days in Copenhagen prior to our June 25th sailing. We are staying in Malmo Sweden, across the strait from Copenhagen (CPH) and need to determine our transportation to the port.

Gleaning a lot of valuable information from the CC board including which tour groups to hire (Alla Tours) and what to see in CPH.

While this will be our most extensive vacation ever, we don't want to go crazy with a hectic itinerary. So, a little pre-planning is called for. If anyone has any suggestions on where to go and what to see,(a little off topic) please post.

  2. Wife and I along with our travel companions from California are booked on Royal Princess Baltic Cruise in June. Because of the 11 day, port intensive itinerary, and traveling from the USA, I am wondering how formal do our fellow cruisers dress on "formal nights".

Long days on shore excursions and only one day at sea, I am considering backing down on the formal gear in order to conserve luggage space. At best, a sport coat and slacks.

For those that have cruised on this itinerary in the past, please share your views and experience relating to "formal nights"

    Thanks,

  3. With the recent purchase of Airtran by Southwest Airlines, and the subsequent take over of the San Juan destination from Airtran, I believe you will again see decent airfare rates. Whenever Southwest enters a market, competition between Airlines heats up.

We too enjoy cruises from SJU, as we have tired of Eastern and Western itinerary's from Florida. We booked RCCL Adventure of the Seas for a February 9th departure out of SJU, and we are looking forward to visiting ports other than the typical Caribbean stops.

We would love to again sail out of San Juan on a Princess Ship in 2015, and our hopes are Princess will homeport in San Juan then!

  4. We are preparing to book a balcony stateroom on the Baltic Itinerary in June 2014. Can anyone tell me if stateroom E408 Emerald deck has a clear view from the balcony. The room features an extended balcony, however the brochure states that is have a partial obstructed view. From the exterior pictures that I have seen it looks as though the view is fine.

If you have cruised in this or any stateroom near to E408, would you please share your thoughts.

    Thanks,
