  1. I just got one as well.  Can't talk to the Tables?  But the casino Can be overcrowded.

However, a Prestige cruise has fewer casino invited guests, than a Vip cruise.

I adjust my playing Times, to Not be there during the busiest times.

For $150 you should get alot more! LOL

    They use to be free!

    But $ count!

I've done many of the Free ones (especially on NCL) but this one is soooo much more.

Somebody said they didn't like the swag?  Even without it, having the small intimate tour,

was worth it to us. One ended in the Captains small conference room with a sitdown visit & refreshments.  If you haven't done it?  Then you don't know how much better this tour is.

I Do hope they bring them back.

  3. The Behind the Scenes ship tours were great.

I say were, because I've yet to hear of a ship doing them again?

Hope they can someday.  Totally worth it IMO.

It was a small group of guests, like 10 and cost  approx $150 pp but,

you get quite a bit of swag to help recover from the price.

You learn so much more than the quickie walk thru the galley after the silly Food competition

towards the end of your cruise.

That really stinks.  They do not combine points on a B2B and the offers don't come until the end of the 2nd leg.   Some people on fb reported that the first leg wasn't even counted.

Hosts seem pretty unaware of what is going on. They have no control over the offers.  There seems to be so much inconsistency to the offers and absolutely no transparency.

Did you get offers after the cruise?   They are usually better than what you get on the ship but not always.  Again, no consistency.     Hopefully, you will receive some offers for a balcony and 600 FP.

Yes it did suck, and I felt deceived.

I did Not get a Come back & Play offer after first, Or second short cruise, b2b,

Nothing. So basically the First and Second leg points Didn't count.

Didn't matter how many points you made, it Didn't get you Any CB&P offer!

Yes, I still got plenty of offers, but lately I've only gotten Princ Plus perks included

on Come back & play offers. Those are the only ones I've been booking.

Yeah, it used to be the other way around.... I got better offers After cruises.

But not anymore... I seem to get Plus included with CB&P offer after 7+ day cruises Only.

    This was on thee Discovery

And I believe you posted you received Bounceback offers on cruise that was 7 days+

They were wondering about getting Bounceback voucher for LESS than 7 days cruises.

In our experience Princess has NOT given Come back & play offers for short cruises.

If you got bounceback on Short cruise?  Kindly post details, length, etc.

  6. I did a 4 day and 5 day cruise back in Feb. (back to back)

Did 10k points per trip, and Neither one got a bounceback offer!

Was mislead after the first cruise, host said they would combine points?

    Nooooo they didn't.

After the second cruise and NO bounce back (Come back & Play offer)

she then told me, Oh their Not doing that anymore on shorter cruises.

    What?

I felt deceived, but also think she didn't know what she was talking about.

So buyer beware.... if you are playing on a shorter than a 7 day cruise?  You may Not get a Come back and play offer!

  7. Is anyone else having an issue now with getting their medalions Mailed to them?

We are 22 days out, and you can order Medallions to be mailed up to 13 days out.

    Shipping is Included in ours.

I went to order on the app. It keeps giving me an error, try again later message.

Yet it will easily let me click on Pick up on Pier.🤨

I would rather have them Mailed and Not be in Blue lane.

    Suggestions?

Masks are really rare these days. We just  visited a friend in the ICU today and half of the doctors and nurses are not even masked. On a cruise I find my most frequent use of a mask is when I want to play a slot machine on the smoking side of the casino

Like you said, you've had covid twice.

    We've had it zero.

We keep doing whats worked.  Masking indoors.

I just wish more people would mask & isolate when their obviously sick, or Suspect they might be ill.

Case in point....Doctors & nurses, many are just plain tired, but covid is still out there.

Our doctor family member was recently infected by one of several other doctors

    who had symptoms at work.

But because they were still testing negative? They came to work and infected many others.

    Including other doctors and nurses.

And their families.  Our son and their infant daughter got very sick.

So if you might be sick?  Mask, and for petesake stay away.  Isolate.

    Good luck

Yes, they do have it.  However, they may be out of it, as reported from some recently OB ships.

Seems some Drs WILL give you an Rx for Paxlovid if you tell them youre cruising/traveling.

    Mine however would not.

Knock on wood we still mask and haven't gotten covid.

But our friends we traveled with last cruise who avoided masking, both got covid.

Our next cruise in a few weeks and yes we'll be masked as usual.

We also ask our Cabin steward to Not enter our cabin without a mask,

and only need that service Once a day.

First time with Princess. For an upcoming Alaska cruise, my mother-in-law used a travel agent to book us three cabins on Discovery -- one for my in-laws, one for my wife and daughter (15), and one for me and our son (17). Although my MIL (very generously!) paid for the cabins, we'll be paying for all of own our onboard expenses, excursions, etc.

We each have our own booking number, and my wife and I had no trouble getting our information into the Medallion app, except that we each had to use different credit card numbers for our shipboard payment method. I'm assuming we can straighten all that out at guest services once on board.

My question is -- since MIL booked all the cabins, will she be able to see what's in our onboard expense folios? Sorry, I know this isn't a relationship advice forum, but there is bound to be less drama if we can keep all that info to ourselves.

No.  I've booked & paid for cabins for family members.  Only they can see their own.

One thing I do when checking in (embarking) on ship.... we each present our Own

credit cards.  So theres no confusion for onboard expenses.

    Anyone have try this?

YOUR LOYALTY AND OFFERS FROM OTHER CASINOS COULD EARN YOU A FREE CRUISE

You may be eligible for great deals, including FREE* or discounted cruises, drinks included and other benefits – when you submit a request. Simply complete this form and an agent will review your request and if eligible, make you an offer!

I'm wondering Which casinos are they targeting?  Which markets?

My guess they are looking at What level your card is..... Higher level, means higher stakes.

If you have entry level card, wouldn't be much.

then again, No I haven't tried it.  I think they need to add more details.

If anyone has? It would be interesting to hear the outcome.

  12. Since our plans were changed and now we will need 2 nights in Rome before flying home...early November.

Wondering which Hotel location we should choose?

And how far away is FCO Rome airport from the hotel?

The spouse hasn't been to Rome before, but I recall a nice hotel almost next door

to the Colessum.... but were also hoping to visit the Vatican and other touristy spots. Thanks

The problem is a CVP cannot book using a bounce back offer. We finally got overseas to recognize our offer and a payment was made and of course it was totally messed up. Plus show on the app not the travel summary and free play is not showing. Our CVP is now trying to get it straightened out

I know you've said before that your Cvp said they cannot book that.

Our CVP..... Did book our (bounceback) Come back & play offer.

I did Not have to call & deal with overseas call center, and won't anymore.

I'm sold on our  CVP for booking all our comp Casino offers, including Come back & Play.

Gaming WITH slot machines or gaming the machines?  You can do the former but NOT the latter. All the information I could find (and I once asked Michael Shakelford, the Wizard of Odds himself) is that the regulation of cruise slot machines is most likely by the country the ship is flagged in.  And many of those countries have little or no regulation.  So the payout percentages are anyone’s guess.   Play for fun and play for no more than you can afford.  And don’t chase comps!  Those are my recommendations.

Right on what you said muggo.  I'm not sure if the new poster above (from united states lol)  is serious or not?🤔

As for me, theres No way to know what the hold is on slots.  I rarely ever play slots, especially on ships.

But you CAN know paytables if you are a Video poker player, its listed on the machine.
