  1. Not sure if it's still offered but there used to be a 5 day out of Miami to Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk and Nassau that was pretty fun! And I don't think you can go wrong with the Key West-Cozumel 4 day out of Miami either!

I agree! This was my favorite cruise, so far! Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk are just beautiful!

  2. Our last cruise was in January and I had purchased it as a surprise for my 3 boys and husband for Christmas. The only people that knew originally were my husband's admin assistant and my oldest son, since I had to check his college athletic schedule to make sure they didn't have practices or team meetings. I thought it was the perfect secret until I was playing Bunco and my friends and their families happened to be going on the exact cruise! One of their daughters was walking through the high school and mentioned to my son how fun the cruise was going to be! I tried to play it off, but by the time Christmas rolled around, the only one we were able to keep the secret from was my husband! Still well worth it and I'll probably book without them knowing again! [emoji12]

  3. I just took quick photos of my fun times from Jan 2. Hope they help. Best cruise ever! I have been on Triumph twice. Once when she was NEW out of Miami and then two weeks ago. I had never sailed out of Galveston. Weather wasn't ideal, but the experience was awesome. Service was exceptional. We had my 3 boys with us, ages 20, 16 and 10. I also took a pic of the Camp Ocean agenda to upload. My 16 year old spent almost the entire time in the Camp O2 or with kids he met. He is still snap chatting kids he met! Our steward was SUPERB! Deck 7, Oleksy, "Alex". Went above and beyond! We had 3 interior rooms, and he sure made us feel great! My youngest loves the towel animals and Alex showed him how to make them and let us keep them all in our cabin the entire cruise and make a "zoo" at the foot of his bed. It was awesome and he is still talking about it. His birthday was Monday, so I bought him the towel making book from Carnival to add to his gift. Alex snuck it into my cabin and hid it under my bed so it would be a surprise and I could pack it.

The ship is nice and clean. The Dive in Movies are good. My youngest enjoyed them the most, along with my husband. I enjoyed the casino. Serge and Enrique are super nice..and I even came home a winner... A small winner, but I gave my oldest some to play on and he was NOT a winner, so I was lucky to be able to say I'm ahead at all! :). We had early dining in the Paris Dining Room. Food was good and Jerald was our server. He was nice and always called us by name. The Sports Bar was our favorite bar and the two men that work in there were GREAT!!!! ENJOY your time on the Triumph! I want to go back.... 4. Our family cruised Victory in May. The layout is nice. We were also on Empress in a balcony midship. We loved the location. Close to everything! The kids loved Camp Carnival, Club O2 and the casino. (My boys are 19, 16 and 10). Plenty on the ship for them each to do! Serenity was my favorite spot! The night movies on the Dive-In big screen were fun. So much to do and not enough time!

  5. We've got Chris "Donkey" Salazar on our Sunshine Journeys cruise next year. I'm not familiar with him. Have any of you sailed with him and if so, did he add to your cruise experience?

We had Chris "Donkey" Salazar on our cruise last May. He is amazing!!! My family was hoping he'd be on our cruise this Jan. He is energetic and his 80's music trivia is hilarious!!!!

  6. We have used the walking talkies and we have also done the check in, notes, Etc. My 10 year old met friends at Camp Carnival and hung out in large groups, too. With the checking in, we made a rule that if they showed up on time and checked in, they could continue. If they were late or anything, they would be with us the rest of the cruise. They were VERY good about watching the clock! ;)

  7. We were on the Victory this past summer and loved the ship. We had my husband and I (44) and 3 boys 19, 15 and 10. There was never a dull moment and plenty to do for all. Honestly, we rarely saw our 15 and 10 year olds...too busy with their peer groups from Camp Carnival and Club 02. First of and service was great. Only negative was I thought the casino was a little smoky and I ran out of time to do everything I wanted!!! I need another cruise on Victory! I will be on Triumph in January!

  8. My son did the dolphin encounter at the private island excursion...not Atlantis..and it was awesome. I was able to observe for free and they spent extra time teaching about the Dolphins and showing them how they interact with them. My son didn't stop smiling for weeks!!! Well worth the money and it's a beautiful resort to spend your day at.

  9. I have been a lurker for a while and have been on 2 cruises-one in 2001 and recently this past May. I'm hooked, addicted, consumed with cruise fever! I'm a school counselor and mostly can't cruise during the school season. I live in KS, so I'm a long way from a port. In May, we took our boys on their first cruise. They are ages 19, 16, and 10. Here's my excitement and question....Today, I checked our VIFP offers. My husband, 19 year old son and I ALL had Casino offers! I am ready to book, but am unsure of which cruise to book. My question is: do we each have to book separately or can we book 3 rooms (with a roomie) on the same booking--getting the casino offer for each room? Thank you for any advice you may be able to offer!

  10. We are a family of 5....3 boys ages 19, 15, and 10. Our balcony cabin had plenty of room. I did pack an over the door hanger for space saving and we placed our luggage under the king bed. We are planning another cruise since it was so much cheaper fitting us all in one cabin. Not sure I'd book all 5 of us without a balcony.

  11. We sailed out of Miami to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Jamaica. We were in Cozumel until 9:00 for NYE and then there was a fun deck party as we set sail again. Free Champagne, dancing...great time. The weather was amazing throughout the entire trip until we returned to Miami. I'd love to go on a Holiday cruise again!

  12. We were on the Victory May 30-June 5 and it was. My son went be bopping in it and was told. My husband and I were right there..standing by the sign, but we didn't see it until they pointed it out. I wonder why it was on ours and not another? Darn! My kids rarely got in the pool, so it was no big deal, but if it would have been open for kids, that would have been great!
