  1. There were 5 in our party and it was cheaper for us to hire a driver from the shuttle place. They picked us up in a beautiful new SUV and took us to Miami. It was $95 and he was very informative with tips of things for us to do when we returned from our cruise. We had originally thought we'd take a shuttle, but the lady at the desk was nice enough to suggest this for us and we didn't have to wait on the shuttle. The driver was there waiting for us.

  2. The Sex On The Beach...the Schnapps made from peach! The Velvet Hammer...the Alabama Slammer! They make things with juice and froth, the Pink Squirrel...the 3 Toed Sloth. They make drinks so sweet and snazzy, the Iced Tea...the Kamakazi! The Orgasm...the Death Spasm. The Singapore Sling...the Ding a Ling.

America you're just devoted to every flavor theyve got, but if you want to get loaded...why don't you just order a shot!

Awwww...I love that movie...and makes me want to have a "Cocktail!"

  3. I did it in June online. I'm not sure why it isn't showing for you. If you can't get it, I would call Carnival. It doesn't take long to register them in person, but it is best to register online or calling. I highly recommend it and my son loved it. We rarely saw him the entire cruise!

  4. My 19 yr old just sailed with us in June on Victory. His younger brothers (16 and 10) hung out with friends from the kids and teens club, but he didn't have a group. He liked laying by the pool, he learned to gamble in the casino and he did drink a couple of drinks when we were in port. We did purchase him a couple of drinks on the cruise and gave them to him. The dance club at night is 18 and over, as is the comedy club...they just can't drink. They could possibly meet people their age there.

  5. I agree with everything already mentioned...but I want to add a selection from my boys: My 10 year old loved Camp Carnival and all of the activities they provided. My almost 16 year old loved Club O2. We rarely saw him and he still is in contact with friends he made on the ship. My 19 year old loved the casino....but I think he loved using our money. Haha! I was really worried about the quality of the kids' activities. I am a school counselor and former teacher. I had researched the programs and wanted the boys to be in vacation, but have fun and be safe when they were in these programs. I couldn't have asked for better staff and activities.

  6. We were in 6285 recently. We loved the location, it was quiet and we were right by the elevators. We liked taking the stairs down for dinner or to the atrium or lounge. We usually took the elevators up to the upper decks. Our kids could easily get to the kids clubs and back to our cabin on their own. Easy access throughout the ship! Enjoy your cruise. We sure enjoyed the victory.

  7. Cricket914, I packed a few extra hangers, but was surprised at the number already provided. I believe you also as your steward for a few more, if needed. They do provide some soap/shampoo stuff in the shower, but I didn't use it. My boys used it as body wash and used their own shampoos. A Tender port is a port the ship cannot dock at the main pier. It is too shallow or not created for large ships. The ship anchors out a bit from the shore and a smaller ferry type ship transports you to the shore. It takes a little longer, you may have to stand in lines, etc.

  8. I forgot to mention, the steward offered to set up our trundle every night and take it down to give us space, but we told him we would worry about it. Some nights my 10 yr old just crawled in the King with us and we were fine. We had a balcony on deck 6.

  9. We just sailed on Victory with 5 in our room. My boys are 19, 15 and 10. I overpacked, but other than that, we had plenty of room. It saved us $$$ and we were able to spend more on other items and excursions we felt were worth the single cabin. Honestly, we were only in our cabin to sleep. I'd book it again!

  10. I am memorized by your review. Your writing is exquisite! My family and I just returned from a cruise on the Victory and I am now going to beg, plan, hide $$$, whatever, to get time with Daniel and his sanctuary! My 19 year old walked by as I was reading your "dancing, spinning top of a woman" story and he had thought I'd lost my mind! When he read it, he was laughing just as hard! Thanks for the detailed review!

  11. We had FTTF on our May 30th Victory cruise. Our rooms were not ready when we boarded, but we just went to grab some food and they were done after that. No big deal. FTTF was well worth the money IMO, for the other perks. Tendering was easy and debar king was a breeze! Happy honeymoon and enjoy your trip!
