The "announcement" also mentions new sailings from New York City. That's why I speculate they could add Bermuda sailings (separate from the Florida announcement). If they do, I will jump on them so fast!

The Island is doing three 10-day Caribbean sailings from New York in 2025 (July 4, August 19, August 29) that spend two days in Bermuda.

+1 for sure. I'd love them to start sailing to Bermuda.

Princess just completely changed 3 itineraries on the Island Princess in 2025 (July 4th, August 19th, August 29th) which are now 10 day Caribbean cruises from New York with an overnight in Bermuda.

Does anyone know the itineraries for Diamond Princess and Coral Princess for the 2025/2026 season? I thought I saw on Facebook that Diamond Princess Asia itineraries was releasedatum, but can't find anything on Princess.com. I guess Coral Princess is doing South America and Antarctica?

The Diamond Princess 2025/2026 SE Asia and Japan have not been released yet. Carmen Roig, Vice President of Sales for Princess Cruises is doing a webinar on Thursday on Facebook live for travel advisors (I think this one may also be available to the general public) to give a preview of the 2025/2026 Asia and Japan itineraries. I'm hoping @Coral will also post them when she receives them.

Also, they wouldn't be able to fill a big ship for a WC.  The Coral has been doing WC's as well from Sydney.  Maybe one year, they will decide to swap them and N.A. might get the Coral for the FLL/LAX WC's.

Looking at the ship deployment it will either be the Sapphire or the Coral doing the 2026 WC from Ft. Lauderdale. I personally think it may be the Sapphire since it is doing the 14 day Circle Caribbean Holiday December cruise ending back in Ft. Lauderdale on January 5, 2026, which is usually around the date the WC begins from Ft. Lauderdale.

It's a mystery on what the Coral will be doing. It currently doesn't have anything scheduled after it arrives in Ft. Lauderdale on November 13th. Maybe going into dry dock or maybe South America for the 2025/2026 season. It also could be that it will be doing an extended world cruises itinerary, which visits different ports and is longer than the traditional 111 day world cruise that Princess normally does. I guess we will find out in due time.

  5. I've done back-to-back excursions in a port pretty much without any issue, even with as small of a window as an hour to hour and a half in between. I only once had a Princess excursion that went way over the time because the guide wanted to take the group to another place that wasn't on the original itinerary. We arrived back after our other excursion left, but then went and explained the situation at the Shore Excursion desk, and they provided a full refund for our afternoon tour. If you can, I would book the tour you care about most as your early one so just in the rare instance it is delayed you don't miss out on what you really wanted to see and do in that port.

Jess Caballero is on there right now. She just joined after (or during) the drydock. I would think if Natalie is joining it wouldn't be for a few months? But maybe Jess is just there as an interim until Natalie could join.

Natalie is currently on the Diamond. She has been posting on her Instagram. When I was on the Island the other week, Andi Sanders was leaving the ship on November 23rd and said he was rejoining the Island in time for the world cruise. I then asked Jaclyn what she would be doing since she was taking over as cruise director on the Island on November 23rd. Jaclyn said she would be transferring to the Ruby.

Please describe your assessment of "terrible shape" since it doesn't jibe with the 2023 world cruise live report that was posted here on CC, not the most recent ship tour videos found on YouTube.

    What is so terrible?

I just got off the Island on a 14 day cruise and have absolutely no complaints about the ship. It was my first time on the Island and definitely would sail on her again.

I will give you that - this does appear (at least according to the blogger) to be a new app requiring a separate download not just another update - and since both the old and new apps will be functional for the first month - only time will tell.

I just got off the Island Princess and some of the photo staff mentioned there will be a new Princess Cruises app that will replace the Medallion app. They mentioned the timeline for the new app is supposed to roll out in January.

It is Andi Sanders until November 23rd and then Jacklyn Friedlander beginning on November 23rd. She made her first appearance on the Wake Show with Andi this morning.

    Greetings!

Does anyone have an updated Island Princess Officer picture?  I have an old one from June. Need an update for M&G Invitations for the Nov 23rd sailing.

One change is Andi Sanders is going on vacation on the 23rd, and Michelle Friedlander is the replacement CD. Does anyone know anything about her?

I would make the changes, but most definitely would screw it up.

I will take a picture of the board tomorrow. It is Jaclyn Friedlander who becomes the Cruise Director of the Island Princess on November 23rd. She is currently shadowing Andi. According to her IG account it looks like she is an actress and has had some tv roles.

  11. It's possible that the Crown could be doing SE Asia in 2025. There is a cruise from Australia to Singapore that ends on October 14, 2025 with not yet any additional cruises listed after that. I'm waiting to see what Princess does for SE Asia for the 2025-2026 season.

Many years ago we took this Princess tour and stayed at Sails in the Desert which is beautiful hotel. I remember having breakfast, but not dinner. I really can't remember where we had dinner. Maybe at the hotel, or there was a small shopping area near the hotel where food was available, but not sit down dinners. We may have ate there. During the entire tour I think we only had one dinner included. It was a a meal that included local dishes, kangaroo, croc, barramundi, things like that. We kind of stayed flexible. There were 39 in our group. Some of us got together and planned on the spot. I remember in Port Douglas we took the short walk into town and dinned at a nice open air restaurant/pub style place.

They had a picnic setup for the sunset viewing of Uluru Rock that included cheese, fruit, kangaroo, and drinks. Dinner was not included that night. Some people ate at the hotel and others ate at some of the restaurants close by. We were fine with the spread they had at the sunset picnic so we chose not to do dinner since we were going to get up so early the next morning. We hung out in the pool for a while and then went to bed to get up for the sunset at Uluru Rock. Breakfast was included that morning. It was a buffet breakfast at the hotel.

  13. That tour did not include the Opera House, but you have a nice view of the Opera House and the Sydney Bridge as you leave the harbor and head to Bondi Beach.

Part of the land tour will include the Sydney Opera House. That was the last part of the land tour before we boarded the Majestic Princess. We could see the ship in the harbor as we touring the Opera House.

Thanks again for taking the time to answer questions.

    1.   Did the Bob Woods group ever contact you prior to getting to Australia?

    2.   Did you order your medallion and did you receive it prior to leaving?   When we did our Alaskan land/cruise last year, our's did not arrive before we left?

    Thanks

    1. No, we were never contacted by the Bob Woods group before our land tour.

    2. We did get our medallion shipped to us and it arrived before we left for Australia.
