Anyone else receive letters from MSC saying pay within 7 days or we cancel your cruise.
My final balance is not due yet. No issue of when I pay it but this is now the second letter from MSC saying pay now or we cancel your cruise.
Booked direct and spoke to customer service who say not to worry and work to your confirmation payment date but it still isn’t nice receiving this letters by email.
First time with MSC having always been RC and so far, other issues apart from this, I am not convinced.

Unfortunately we are 40's for unlikely to be offered one following a discussion with local health board.
I just hope MSC change their policy. Having looked at other liners, they have all relaxed or about to relax their requirements, which would make us able to sail as we are.

Not in the UK. We have a 4th booster roll out starting now but it is only for the venerable. According to our health service, having 3 jabs is classed as fully vaccinated for the low risk.
-
Are you based in the UK?
-
Hi, yes we have booked the PCR in Dubai so all good on that front. The issue is with the vaccine requirements. MSC want the last booster within 12 months of sail end date. This is impossible as most would have been jabbed by end of December 2021. There are many people on the same situation.
-
Yes, UK resident.
-
We have had the original 2 doses plus the booster. There are no more available to us as we are fully vaccinated. Yet this won’t be sufficient, based on MSC policy.
as it stands it will be impossible to sail with them.

Hi
booked on the 31st December Dubai cruise.
MSC requirements state they require certification of fully vaccinated, which is fine, we are. However it must be within 12 months of the sail end date. Ours are not, we have the final booster in mid December 2021. As the vaccine programme was rolled out in 2021, with the booster to be for the autumn/winter, how can they have a policy that requires 12 months when this is impossible.
There is the 4th booster roll out starting but this is only marked for the venerable group.
Anyone have any more info on this and whether there is anything that can be done? We will be having the PCR test before we sail as required.

Hello,
First time travelling since Covid. We be on the World Europa from 31st December.
We are extending our stay by having a few days in Dubai before sailing. My question is regarding the proof of negative PCR. How can I overcome this if it needs to be 48 hours before to board ship? We are fully vaccinated.
Thanks

Don’t think you can reserve before hand. I couldn’t on our September cruise. You can once onboard, although they have no reservation time slots where you just turn up. It was never busy and always straight on.

Just off IOS and my final Gold status (now moved up a tier)
We were assigned theatre for departure which did have fresh coffee and pastries available.
Having said that both the cafe promenade and sorrentos were open serving breakfast bits also.
If you fancy fried egg pizza that is.

That’s more than I was expecting, fair play.
-
Out of interest how much OBC did they give you?
might try that myself.
-
Yes that is complete price

I am also on this sailing and I am waiting to see also if the deluxe pricing comes down.
I have sailed previously with RC but have either had drink package included or it was before the drink packages were changed to just one acholic option, so I have nothing to compare the current price of £41 to. I have been monitoring since I booked 6 weeks ago and it has always been either £41 or £44. My guess is the £41 will be the best price on offer.
i would be interested to hear if any others on this sailing or other sail dates from UK this year as to what the best price they have/had got.

Thanks for the replies.

Great review, also on Indy in 10 days.
Thanks

So my wife has bought herself a new hair roller system. Rollers are in a pod that you plug in, heats the rollers up and away to go. Anyone see any issue in taking this on board?
Thanks

Sailed on Navigator from Southampton last year and was on select package and had no issue ordering the oil can fosters.

Thanks,
Weighing up whether or not to purchase the soda package at £6.55 per day.
My one son is only 3 so not sure whether its worth it.
I have purchased drink packages for us but am not sure with the little one.
My thinking it maybe best to just purchase a drink when is required for the title one, especially if we can use the juice from breakfast, plus, would RC come dow hard if he is seen having a few sips of one of our cola's etc??
Thanks

Hello,

Hello,
We will be docking in Barcelona and wondered if anyone could tell me who has docked before, how far Camp Nou (Barcelona FC) is away from the ship?
Many thanks

Hi
Will be travelling on independence this summer with two little ones, 3 & 5.
Does anyone know how the after 10pm kids club costs work? Is this something you have to pre-book for a later than 10 collection, or do they just charge you based on when you collect? And does anyone have the current costs? They seem to be different everywhere I read.
Many thanks

Hello,
What is the protocol should one of your guests test positive for Covid before setting sail. Considering this is an oversea sailing.
Thanks
