  1. Is there anyway of prepaying gratuities but at a reduced amount?

    Here's my reason

I will be travelling with my wife and 2 young children, 3 and 2 years old.

I do find issue with paying for them especially when we will not eat in main restaurant.

Happy to pay for me and wife so half of prepaid gratuities.

Where I would want to pay gratuities for them is at kids club etc but I believe I'm right in saying these are not part of gratuities breakdown?

So would need to do this at end?

  2. With our cruise in June I plan to remove the automatic daily gratuity charge as we are sailing with small children and will eat once or twice most in the main restaurant. The rest will be in windjammer etc

So will tip in cash at the end.

As we also have the drinks package though how does this work?

Do they add 18% on top of each bar visit on what the cost would have been even though there will be no cost as it's the package?

Would or could I remove the 18% automatic and tip in cash each bar visit??

  3. Hello

I apologise if my questions have already somewhere In this forum been answered

I have used this forum to great use to find many answers but have several more that will prepare me fully for my upcoming June cruise

This being my families first ever cruise I want to be prepared as fully as possible.

We decided on a cruise due out two little boys being 3 (turning 4 on the cruise) and 2 years old and wanting them to have as much to do as possible.

Now we plan to dress down most of the holiday, shorts etc and eat at the windjammer and another other eaterie that this dress code will accept.

Can anyone confirm which on board restaurants this will be suitable at?

We have planned to eat smart 3 nights probably, which is fine for us but have only have 3 smart outfits for the boys.

We would like to eat in the main restaurant twice and chops grille.

But are we doing this right by eating at the windjammer and any others mostly?

Should we plan for more or will we be happy with this when on board?

May sound daft but want to make sure we bring the right attire especially for boys.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially anyone who ha sailed with very small ones.
