  1. I understand cruise lines having strict guidelines regarding sailing times.  We've alway taken ship tours to alleviate worrying about getting back on time.  I'm really concerned NCL had left an elderly woman 2 days earlier who was disembarked at the same port who was thought to have had a stroke, then according to family didn't even contact them.  I'm sure the news will sort more information out, but I'm disappointed in NCL.  Not sure we will sail with them again.

Just to be clear, if you had Covid in April in the UK (and the same applies today) there was no need to go to a quarantine hotel. Indeed, there are no such things as quarantine hotels.

The only reason is that the US requires a negative test before you can fly, and therefore those with covid had to be accomodated somewhere until they tested negative.

Interestingly, I can test positive for Covid, but can travel  anywhere in Europe with no restrictions, as I am fully vaccinated and have had a booster.  About time the US did the same.

I agree with you.  I'm still confused about the 10 day"quarantine".  If you test negative after say 5 days can you not travel?  How do the Airlines know who tested positive when?  Does Princess report positive tests to the airlines?

In a departure from what was done on the Ruby Princess, I’m reading on Facebook that 300 out of 800 in transit passengers on the Emerald Princess tested positive yesterday and are being disembarked for quarantine on turnaround day. Regardless of how many additional cruises they have booked, they are not being allowed to re-board the ship at a future date (per the posts I’m seeing on Facebook). I do wonder how many disembarking passengers will test positive and be unable to immediately continue their onward travel. Apparently internet has been sketchy onboard, which may be why we’re not seeing posts on Cruise Critic. Friends on board were able to text me last night that they tested negative.

If these numbers are correct that is 38% of passengers.  I wonder how many crew are infected?

If it had been issued at least a day or more before you check, you'll see it on the Travel Summary in the section on the first or second page that shows your flights booked through EZAir.  If it's been issued you'll also see it by clicking the View eTicket button after you've clicked Add or Modify Flights in the Travel section (see screen shot below).  And if you don't see the View eTicket button, the tickets haven't been issued.

Thank you I was able to find it.

Well either my chat last week worked after all or it's just that we are at the 30 day point.  Whatever the reason I now see an ticket number on the Princess website.  So relieved that I don't have to make another phone call to get this resolved.  Now will watch the United website like a hawk for any changes and will contact them if necessary.

Where do you find a "ticket number" on the Princess site?  I see an "Air Confirmation #" and a "Confirmation code", but no ticket number?

I fly Delta often snd once it’s connected to my Delta/Skymiles  account I have never had an issue with notifications when using EZAir either.

Did you link your flight to your Delta account?

We have a Princess EZ Air booking that is with American Air but the over sea's leg is on British Air.  I've tried to link the flights with my AA account but haven't been successful.  Do I need to call American to get that done?

  7. We have 31 days until our EZAir flight.  I was just able to pull up the booking on the Airlines website a few days ago.  This flight is with the airline we normally use (American) but if I go to my account and try to pull up the booking it says I have no booking.  So do I have to call Princess and give them all our TSA info etc?

@wallyj Hi there!  Yes, we are in a deck 8 mini suite.  Bianca is great!

It feels like the ship's did pre-covid.  It is cold outside today and we were suprised to see the Lido pool deck full of folks, kids in the pool, lines at the Grill and the Swirl ice cream stand.

Next week, we will be back down to 1,900.

How do you find out the number of people booked on your cruise?

    Hi,

we’re on the same cruise and will probably use Boots before going down to Southampton. We’re on Enchanted in May too and , for that cruise, we’re using a credit note we have with Express Test from the cruise we had to cancel. They have a site in Southampton so we’ll book in to that the day before we sail.

Is Boots a Drug store chain?  We are booked into a hotel we booked thru Princess.  We have one full day to see London so I'd hate to waste any of it doing the testing that day.

  10. We've booked EZAir for an upcoming May 21 cruise flying to LHR on May 18th.  I wanted to make seat assignments but when I go to the airlines page I am unable to bring up our booking.  Princess says I must call the airline.   The booking involves American Airlines domestically and British Air on the segment from Dallas to LHR.  Any recommendations on how to make the seat assignments on the BA segments?  I've tried confirmation #'s and Air Booking #'s and neither bring up my booking.

    thanks for any help

Not locked in, but I’m about to put on a mask and see how far I can get towards getting some soft drinks and ice for our sore throats. Been trying to order dinner for an hour but all the lines they gave us are busy all the time

Just open your room door and see if they come running
