Ritabob - you named the photo first. Your turn next!

German War Cemetery of Langemark , Belgium?

I would like to yield my turn to Notamermaid to add my thanks for starting this wonderful thread. If that isn’t within the rules (or Notamermaid prefers not to post), let’s do a wild card.
Notamermaid, please let us know if you will post the next photo. And thank you again for your great idea!

Vada_9, is it the Nhat Tan bridge in Hanoi, Vietnam, Red River?

I have been to St. Petersburg, but not to Peterhof Gardens. The day we were scheduled to go was cold, rainy and stormy. Others did go to Peterhof and said it was magnificent, even in the bad weather -- so we made a mistake. (Your mention of the hydrofoil was the clue that lead me to Peterhof.)
Notamermaid mentioned it might be good if someone posted a photo of a night scene. I have a few and will go through them to try to find something suitable.

Daisi, absolutely right! Good one. You are up.

Excellent hint from Host Jazzbeau.

Notamermaid, thank you so much for starting (and beautifully curating) this fun and challenging thread. Investigating the photos of others, and revisiting my own photos, has been a great distraction during these difficult times. I hope the thread continues.
Name what is in the photo. First guess the river. After that name the town/city/place.
The person one who first guesses correctly gets to post the next photo! Please, DO NOT POST any PHOTOS unless it is your turn

Mülheim-Kärlich? (Pure guess)

The brick and plaque remind me of the garden wall of the Westfries Museum in Hoorn, Netherlands. But my pictures of the garden wall do not show the animal in your picture.

JP and Chris, thanks for the additional pictures of Tomar. It looks lovely. The Douro River cruise I took did not stop in Tomar, so the photo was a challenge. I found it using some of the hints You left and doing many google searches for Portugal convents and monasteries.
i don’t have a photo to post right now. So I suggest that we have a wildcard and anyone with a photo can post (first poster wins).

Did you go on a river cruise? It is not so often stopped at I think.
Yes, we stopped at Nijmegen on a river cruise in April 2017. The chapel was in a park several blocks from the (more visited) Nijmegen town square, far more quiet. I am impressed it was recognized so quickly.

Yes. Your turn.

Queen of Everything, your photo was a true challenge. I only guessed Strasbourg because of the questions and hints

Thank you! Unfortunately I use a Mac, and it looks like Video Studio is only for Windows. But your videos have inspired me to find a similar program for the Mac. I really enjoyed your videos and I am certain others did as well. Thanks again!

Hi Cruzer Two,
Your videos are wonderful. Thank you for posting. Can you share the name of the software you used to make the videos?

FuelScience,
So glad you are fully recovered and back on the forum. Thank you for your great report and excellent photos.

Crystal let us know per email that our cruise had to be amended to a shortened cruise, beginning August 16 and ending August 22th. It was supposed to be August 16th to August 30th. We were to be on the Ravel.
Does anyone know where the Ravel is now (August 21) and where it is headed? VesselFinder indicates Ravel is now going east from Linz as of August 21. But I thought Ravel was to be in Passau tomorrow. Very confused.

Yes, I think it would be considered a roundabout.
