I have 250 teabags of my favourite Dilmah Ceylon Supreme tea with me. Based on our Japan cruise on Diamond last November I was prepared for a shortage of Twinings E.B. but I didn't expect them to replace it with rubbish tea. If it looks like I'm using more than expected of my Dilmah I'll buy some Twinings in Dover.
We have our Timings with us as well. We will stock with more in Fremantle Then in Dover as needed.

I'm actually more concerned with reaching Fremantle on time than the actual crossing. We're meeting up with friends for lunch. We missed catching up with them last time we were in Fremantle as we were stuck in isolation as I had Covid.
We are also meeting up with friends in Perth.

Coral isn't going to Brisbane. That port stop was cancelled.
The NZ world cruisers embark in Auckland tomorrow, 26th April.
Sat 27th April - Bay of Islands
Sun 28th April - At Sea
Mon 29th Apr - At Sea
Tue 30th April - the rest of us, including the Brisbane contingent, embark in Sydney and off we go!
Yes, we should have boarded in Brisbane for this world cruise. We are now flying down to Sydney on Monday 29th. We will be boarding on the 30th.
We then have a 112 day world cruise. Finishing in Brisbane on the 21st August

I hope you guys do too.
We tried on two WC's 2014 & 2018, but missed out.
both times it was sunny the seas look good but the swells evidently were from the wrong angle, making it unsafe to dock the tenders.
We managed Easter Island 1 time out of 3 attempts. Sea Princess world cruise 2017.

Is it possible that Princess are delaying possible new itinerary due to problems in the Suez, until it's to late to get any kind of refund should I want to cancel.
Three posts well you got my attention.
Does anyone know what the situation will be next week, in the Red Sea never mind at the end of May?
One certainty Princess will have our safety as a very high priority.
We have sailed on three previous world cruise and all have had itinerary changes.

It would be good to be back at the 2012 exchange rate A$1 for US$1.

It has come to my attention that one of our members has passed. Geoff or @GUT2407as he was known here had another major medical episode and did not survive. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family and of course Maxie.

On the world cruise in 2017 We made it onto Easter Island but did not get to Pisco,
because of bad weather. We ended up in Lima for three days

Norfolk is considered a domestic territory of Australia. The ANZ card insurances covers both international travel and domestic travel so you would be covered with the ANZ card insurance.
Thank you, Aus Traveller,

Currently on Coral.
Internet good ( peak times ) to very good (off peak )
Noticeably better than 4 to 6 weeks ago.
It will be interesting to know how the internet holds up, as you cross the Pacific Ocean.

I believe there is a current thread where wine fees and such like are already being discussed.
PS: Thoroughly looking forward to our next few stops.
Malaga, Tangier and Lisbon.
We just love Lisbon. One of the best trips we have had on a world cruise was in Lisbon, with a company called " We Hate Tourists". Well we fell in love with them.

We have been fortunate to have been on three world cruises.
On each cruise we have missed at least two ports.
Due to political unrest or weather.
Easter Island would be the most missed port in the world due to weather?
We have managed it once in three attempts.
That once was quite hair raising, due to the winds and large swell.

Thanks for letting us know, Jo. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Are there any signs on Covid onboard? We were on the Round Australia cruise last year that had a big outbreak so I'm interested to know what is happening now. Numbers were still high in NSW when Coral departed but have dropped in the last week.
Friends of ours both have covid on board at the moment. We do not know how widespread it is.

Yes I hadn't thought about the boarding of passengers, I suppose it would depend on if they were boarding 25th or the 26th. Cruise mapper is showing them passing Muscat at the moment.
Sad to miss that port, we enjoyed our time there on the 2018WC.
Yes. Muscat was a very enjoyable port of call.
So sad that you have missed it.
2024 and 2025 world cruises do not call in Muscat
