  1. Awesome, I joined Virta Health 4 years ago and they help reverse my diabetes and all complications like neuropathy, blurred vision, heart palpitations and Stage 2 CKD is all gone and in one year. No longer on any medications. Food is Medicine.
  2. Hi Denise, today I use a FreeStyle Libre Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) the sensor on your arm transmits glucose levels to your phone via Bluetooth. So I can see live whatever impact a so called sugar free dessert has on me. Let me know if you need more info on getting one to try out. The Abbott website has a free voucher for 1 free sensor but you will still need to have your PCP send in the prescription. I use Costco as they are the cheapest in price.
  3. Put it in a slot machine and cash it out. That’s what I did yesterday. No issues.
  4. Didn’t even know that Celebration was number 25
  5. Yes, make sure to have your profile that shows your 25th cruise so they can give you the card if you didn’t get one, that’s what I had to deal with yesterday if you didn’t read my post above. I didn’t get a card on my 25th cruise which was my last cruise on Celebration. These people here say it was automatic, I didn’t get one LoL.
  6. The 25% reward that I got wasn’t enough to even put a dent into a more expensive cruise so I just claimed it now to cover a few drinks and the upsale during brunch on sea days.
  7. Read that and again I did not get my milestone card on cruise 25. Period. I did get my usual Platinum card. So those that are going on their 1st milestone, make sure you get your milestone card.
  8. I do admit that you can get different answers from Carnival’s call center.
  9. Once again, that is not what Carnival told me, they specifically stated that you must complete that cruise to move on, now that could be something new, who knows but they never bent the rules for me, that’s for sure.
  10. That has not been my case and that is exactly what I was told by Carnival so for you to say I am incorrect, you might wsnt to do your research as I did directly with Carnival.
  11. Thanks, but I did not get my Milestones card on my 25th cruise which was on Celebration. So I had to ask for it on this cruise. Usually you have to complete a cruise to get any loyalty points. Carnival will not advance you to diamond status until you completed the 200 points and not during that cruise. This is why I submitted my Milestone after the completion of the 25th cruise.
  12. Well, the Milestone saga continues. yesterday while embarking Firenze, I got the typical platinum card. Where was my Milestone card? I went down to guest services to find out and the person there said since this is cruise #26 you won’t be getting another milestone card, I politely said I did not submit to the milestones rewards department about my 25th cruise so I am getting it now. I then stated, if you look at my On Board Credit, it states Milestone Rewards Credit. If you can’t figure that out then find me a supervisor that can help me. She immediately printed out my new Milestone card.
  13. Yes it’s possible to get the same table with the same waiters each night, I get that done even when they assign me “any time dining”. The two options are to get a medical note from your doctor stating your food sensitivities and food allergies, this also work for diabetics and for this reason you need to keep the same waiters to ensure they know you dietary restrictions. Option 2 is to draft up the memo yourself and hand it over to the Mater’d on day one. Repositioning cruises usually do not sell out so there should be plenty of tables available to keep the same table each night.
  14. I guess it’s best to call the agent when you’re ready to book to ensure you are not charged the double port fees. Seems like it’s a glitch while booking online and they will need to correct that. Thanks for pointing that out.
  15. Good to know John, I didn’t know I was at cruise number 25 with Carnival until I looked at my cruise history with them but I did know about the milestones rewards program and looked into it. Enjoy your upcoming cruise.
