Nearest is Mount Gay…. Better tour and rum is Foursquare, but this distillery is further away. Whatever is the selection, best to book one’s tour in advance as spaces are limted.
The cruise line (Royal) has none listed in their shore excursions. Can you recomend a tour provider for either of them?

Looking to go on a brewery or distillery tour that is near the port or one that is not too far away using a cab. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm sure most people know this already but just to clarify for non-gamblers, 25,000 points does not equate to $25,000 dollars lost/spent or even $2,500.00 dollars. At least not directly.
I've put $20 into a slot machine and win $30, lose $15, win $10, lose $20, etc until the machine is empty some 15 or 30 or even 60 minutes later.
I've lost my initial $20. But during that time frame I might have gambled $500, $750 maybe even a $1,000 if I'm really lucky meaning I've accumulated up to 1,000 points on my $20. Then there are other times my $20 is going in 2 minutes & I've earned 20 points.
So while it's still cheaper to buy a cruise outright, the "free" comp cruise might not be as expensive as people think when factoring in the many hours of entertainment provided.
Isn't it one point per $5 gambled, so ,$1000 churn gets you 200 points, not 1000.

Thanks for all your responses. One final question, do I get double points for a JS?

If you are HC tell them that and HC boards with the key, pinnacles and full suites.
I don't understand the point you are trying to make. I have an accessible JS, and said a full suite was more than I wanted to pay for.

I need an accessible cabin and a full suite didn't fit my budget.

I just booked Our first JS on the Odyssey for our next anniversary. Do we get any special benefits? Someone told me we could use CK if they have openings. Is that true?

You have nothing to lose by trying. Last year on the Anthem before I made final payment, I asked for a re-price. Even though the category was sold out, I got a $700 refund. It does happen.

Where is it located?

It's whatever they want the minimum to be. They have a captive audience.

Their IT department is doing what it does best, screwing things up.

The August 15 sailing of Liberty of the Seas is now swapping Turks/Caicos for Labadee.

Do you know for how long?
Odyssey is replacing the Anthem in Cape Liberty. So it will be sailing from Bayonne between November and April and Europe May through November.

The closest liquor store is a state store next to the grocery store near the train station. It's about a ten minute walk from the ship. It's away from the boardwalk where the ship docks. It's not the duty free that most people associate with the Caribbean.
-
The ship usually sails at 3:00 so don't get there until after two, otherwise you ll get caught up with the boarding traffic.
-
I've found a ,3.00 tip makes it go away too.

It is above the outdoor smoking area on deck five. You WILL smell the smoke from there. I know that because I book accessible cabins ,7764 & 8674 for my wife, and it does reach us there.

I thought Odyssey had a retractable roof over one of the pools? Thinking
of booking for March from NY. One more question: are the buffet dinners in Windjammer similar to what’s offered in the MDR? And can you view menu in advance?
You may a find a few of the items on a given day, but don't count on it. The MDR menus are usually the same fleetwide. I don't know if the WJ dinner menus are consistent fleetwide, in my experience there's nothing in writing. Some ships may have theme nights in the WJ on occasion, and the theme is printed in the compass.

I assume El Loco Fresh replaced JR's and Playmakers replaced the Pub next to Sorrento's.
-
They've done it like that the past 4 years on the Anthem, so I expect the Odyssey would follow suit.

You don't have to loop back.

They could also stop at Puerto Plata in the DR.
