Thank you both for your replies. One more task before we leave. Ironing!
-
We are sailing on the Jewel in two weeks. Will an iron and ironing board be available in the cabin? Does RC provide shampoo and soap in the cabins? Finalizing my packing. Getting excited.

I loved Jewel. I think the best ship I have been on to date.
Here is a link to photographs and a video tour of the ship from our cruise in April this year in Southern Caribbean.
The video is very, very shaky and I have since bought stabilisation but you can see most areas I could access on the ship.

Thanks for the video. I saw ppl with jackets, was it cold? Yikes wasn't planning on packing sweaters or jackets

Ok thanks. Looks like Chef's table is the most expensive option. They probably don't chose that as an option for the BOGO promotion
-
looking at purchasing the BOGO sale 2 night specialty dining for price of one. If we chose to purchase this package do we chose the two restaurants or do they chose for you? Which restaurants would you suggest? Thanks

perfect, thanks for the info!

Excellent! Thank you

Does anyone have the menu for the main dining room on the Jewel? Does the menu vary each night or do we have the same options every night for 7 nights? Or can anyone direct me to where I might find it? The windjammer is buffet style? Any idea what types of food I can expect there? Thanks

Thanks Bob. Do you know how much it might cost? I have the deluxe drink package Are beverages from Cafe Latitude included in deluxe drink package? Thanks
-
Jewel of the seas, Is there an extra charge for Ben and Jerry's or is it included in the cruise fare? Thanks

We are on the Jewel sailing February 11 out of San Juan. We have booked excursions for each port. Can we cancel the excursion for a refund if we change our mind? When do we need to cancel? What is the deadline? Thanks
-
Great! Thanks!
It was less than 15 minutes from the pier, and less than 15 minutes to the airport.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you for the review! We sail in February on the Jewel. Hope all is well with the hotel situation in Feb. We will consider spending time at the hotel for the day before flight departure as you did. How long was the cab ride from the ship to the hotel? Thanks Michelle
The Day Pass was $60 and included $20 food/drink credit that you could use in the cafe or barYou can book up to the day before online with Resortforaday.com

Can anyone give examples of what non alcoholic beverages are available with the deluxe beverage package? They list coffee, tea, bottled water and soda. What else is there? Are there any bottled beverages that are included that could be taken off ship in ports, besides bottled water? Thanks
unlimited cocktails, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, premium coffee, tea, and bottled water.

Did you enjoy your stay at the Sheraton Old San Juan? Do you recommend it?
I'll try to get on here when I get back. We're leaving in 3 days and we're staying at the Sheraton Old San Juan the night before and when we get off we are staying at Renaissance LaConcha Resort for about 4 days. -
Would you say at Embassy Suites or the Sheraton Old San Juan? Any feedback or recommendations? Which is a better option? Thanks
-
Will check this out Thanks!
Not sure about your dates but we got LaConcha on priceline for a very good price for the end of January (98.00!!) Someone on my rollcall had booked it so they directed me to the right hotel. It was an express deal which cannot be cancelled. -
We have not been to San Juan yet. Thanks for the recommendation, will check it out
We've stayed at Sheraton Old San Juan, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn and Courtyard Miramar (three times). Another place we have stayed at that hasn't been mentioned yet is the Holiday Inn Express. It's not far from the pier or Old San Juan and it's within walking distance of the beach and several nice places to eat. We're staying at the Embassy Suites again next spring.Have you ever been to San Juan before? If not, I strongly recommend you spend some time visiting Old San Juan. For that reason, I would recommend one of the hotels that are closer to Old San Juan so you can save a little on taxi fare going back and forth.

Do they limit the amount of beverages you can have with the drink package? Alcohol and non alcohol limited?

Has anyone stayed in cabin 9640 on the Jewel? We were booked on the Adventure for February 2018 and found out it was going into dry dock. Ended up on the Jewel but we were not able to chose our cabin as ship was already close to being fully booked. Hope this cabin will be ok. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks
