  1. Was that the wife or the ship?????😁 Always enjoy your reviews. Nice family. You said you grew up in New Orleans, what part? I'm from Metairie. Leave Saturday for San Juan pre cruise, sunday on the Freedom. Can't wait!!
  2. Was on her in January. My only negative was lack of general seating around Hot dog stand area, way more on Allure. Had Boardwalk on Allure in same area as you did, loved it.
  3. I was on Allure this past July. We could only use 2 of the meals, but you can get the Chocolate shakes with the meal (or whatever flavor you like). If you have drink package you can use it in there too for the shakes.
  4. What I didn't like on Symphony was the lack of general seating on Boardwalk around the Hot Dog stand. There was way more on the Allure. Loved Symphony but I liked sitting back there on Allure and listening to some bands that played.
  5. you can swing it, I'd try to arrive the day before.... Board at 2. Am looking at hotels at moment, airfare is now affordable to fly in day before. Any recommendations in OSJ? TY!
  6. Time wise, how long to OSJ from Pan American? I arrive about 2ish on Freedom OTS. would love to have time to walk around and take in some sites.
  7. Thanks for reply. I know better, but it almost makes me want to try for a 10 AM flight out of FLL. If not, I have to wait until 4 pm to fly out.
  8. Nice review. Going in January. Question: did you do the self assist debarkation & what time you made it off the ship? Thank you!!
  9. Give yourself extra time to get there. There is road construction on Convention Center Blvd. Taking it down from 4 lanes to two.You may want to enter from S Peters side.
  10. IMO I would Uber or taxi. There is major road work going on along with the 4 Seasons project. It's a long way to drag suitcases and you'll be going up & down stairs.
  11. Yes. They said about a year, but I see it going into the fall of 2019.
  12. Construction will be going on thru the summer into fall.
  13. Are you sailing from New Orleans? Allow extra time, road construction around the port.
  14. Yes you can, but that is one long walk, especially toting suitcases.
  15. Major road construction around the Port of NO. Convention Center Blvd is now only 2 lanes. The road work extends from Poydras St to the far end of the Convention Center itself. Expect delays, allow extra time to get to port or parking garages. Hotels on Convention Center are also affected. I work at Harrah's Casino so I go thru it every day. I heard it will take about a year.
