The Gem and Pearl don't really have a dedicated Haven restaurant, do they?  They offer Haven guests exclusive access to Cagney's or Moderno for breakfast and lunch, but that isn't the same experience as some of the larger ships which do have a separate restaurant in the Haven area, with its own unique menu.

That is true. Dawn and perhaps Jewel don't either.

Same menu, every sailing, every ship in the fleet. Biggest complaint about the Haven.

Except Gem and Pearl have never updated their lunch menu to include lobster bisque and cobb salad.

  3. Pearl and Gem are sister ships.  If you look on youtube Gem 10664 a short video shows the balcony.  Sometimes there are 2 loungers and sometimes one lounger and 2 chairs.  You can get the loungers faced out to the wake if you don't mind 2 of the lounger legs in the little gully for water/rain that's under the glass/plexiglass. If you don't see the 2 loungers, your cabin steward or butler might be able to change out the chairs for you.

  4. We had that cabin last April on the Pearl to Bermuda.  The loungers face the water.  Balcony size for the aft suites on decks 9 and 10 is narrower and the loungers are placed foot to foot. I like the deck 10 aft suites because they're bigger than the Haven suite balconies.  If you're looking for amazing, maybe the deck 9 or 10 owner's suites with 2 balconies and a full and half bath.

  5. If you're in a suite, you'll meet the concierge somewhere and she/he will walk you off as a group with other suite and Haven people.  You bypass the masses waiting to scan off the ship.  Inside the terminal, you can use an elevator or escalator to the baggage claim area.

  6. Hello All,

Does anyone know a shoreside email or physical location address through which to do this?  My husband never signed the receipt for itemized treatment and costs which was delivered as were were being escorted from our cabin.  Looking at the itemization later, there are things listed that were not done in sickbay and others that would have offered no help for the "condition" he was diagnosed with.  Thank you in advance.

    You mentioned shopping in Hamilton.

Unfortunately, many of the lovely shops

such as Trimimghams, Blucks and the Irish Linen Shop are closed.
There are nice stores in the Hamilton Princess although high end.

So, I am not certain how much shopping you will be able to do.

Coopers, although changed, still has some nice things and there's a cute gift shop next to the book store.

Now do you all understand why I am so confused???? I have bids out on multiple Haven categories not knowing if any are better than the other ... argh...

Do a you tube search with the exact name of the rooms you are bidding on. You can find detailed videos quite professionally done. And if you carefully read descriptions on the ncl website, you can find out what amenities will be included in each category. Good Luck!

All Haven class rooms have a butler. There are some Haven room in the Haven complex around the Haven courtyard. On the Joy, the majority of the Haven rooms are sprinkled around the ship, outside the Haven complex

Suites and Club Balcony Suites are not Haven rooms, do not have access to the Haven facilities, and do not have a butler.

The Pearl in April 2023, deck 10 aft suite had butler. So I think it's really a ship by ship thing. Caveat emptor.
