I am late to this thread , perhaps you have gotten satisfaction.  The same thing happened to me with a cruise booked October 2020 I used CNC that would have expired at the beginning  of the cruise month 

now the difference may be that it was not canceled by NCL. But by me ... long story short ... stop trying to deal with NCL reps... most don’t have any good interpersonal skills 

you must deal with the cruise next

office .. they and only they have the power to reextend beyond the original extension... Cruise Next ... stop with the customer service reps 

Yes we had medical emergencies so we came in tonite 

What is confusing is that on the invoice it has Cagneys - alacarte  then Teppanyaki - $0 and Moderno $0

i can’t imagine how people that have NEVER  cruised NCL before navigate those stuff and I have had many sailings 

Why does it still say alacarte if I have used one of the allotted on the dining plan? This is new from when we sailed in March - it said it for Cagneys

if you have Verizon -  you can get the travel plan which is you take your data along (however much you have monthly) for $10/day  that is on land .  If you get the "streaming" service on the ship it really is good  - I never had any issues watching movies or getting on Facebook

I have done both - In my opinion the NCL Haven experience is leap years over Disney Balcony - dont get me wrong I loved Disney - that was the first cruise line I went on - BUT if you dont have young kids it really isnt worth it .   It all depends on  what NCL ships you are looking at also - The larger ships have the "Haven" area and thats really nice but the smaller ships that dont have that you are still very pampered

I am hoping the answer is yes cause we are on the ship on that sailing too!!  I was surprised to see that at least one review said the Muster Drill is  at 4:30!!!  blown away by that!!  So hopefully we can get on by 7pm !

First of all I want to than Stinger-PR's Dawn of an era review ! we are heading on the Dawn in March and his review was right on point.  As you can see from my signature i am not a "virgin" NCL Dawn cruiser but i am a new cruiser out of PR!  Ok now my question that I have sort of gotten a partial answer to -   First of all i am surprised the muster drill was at 4:30 !!  the ship doesnt  sail till 9pm!! My question is which is better way back from the bacardi tour - we are going there at 1 pm - I know there are cabs we can get to the factory from the port(we are going early to drop bags off and check in then heading to the factory) but how easy to get a cab from the factory to the port on the way back? we will be 10 people - or uber back ? 

Hello everyone !  We are (9 of us ) cruising out of San Juan in March .  Since we have such a large party does anyone know of the best way to get around ? We are staying at the Serafina Beach Hotel - starting Friday and leaving on Sunday for the cruise - we have booked a side trip to the Bacardi factory on Sunday pre cruise - iof we need 2 cabs at a time thats fine - I dont think Uber is a common as in the States - just wondering if a rental is the best? then again where do we drop it off pre cruise ? We have always cruised out of Boston or NYC and I am a bit in the weeds here 

We have a large party - 9 people! any info on the best way to get around the island?  Are we using cabs everywhere? 

we are sailing out on Marc h 10- staying there 2 nights before -  we had planned on Sunday going to the Bacardi factory  on Sunday - but first we thought we would drop our luggage off then go over - does anyone know if there are taxis available easily from the port or should i do transportation ahead of time ? 

My son proposed to hs now wife on the Gem - he did it in Teppanyaki  - We had contacted the concierge and made arrangements ahead of time with the photographer to be in the restaurant that evening- they used to do photos there any way so it wasnt a big deal to have a photographer there,  we also planned on dinner just around sunset so the photographer took photos right outside on the deck as well.  To be honest they were the best photos! I didnt have to be snapping them all while celebrating ao the cost was worth it -  There was a celebration bottle of Champagne and cake also - it was pretty cool!!

Your post is disconcerting.

We booked aft deck 15 for the Bliss TransAtlantic in April.

Do feel the activities on Deck 17 will affect us?

Will pax be outside for this cruise?

Hey I saw the disney cruises in your signature. We have only done disney and are booked on our first NCL (Bliss) next Jan wondered what you thought of the comparison between the two lines? THanks so much!

I loved Disney as it was my first cruise! I was hooked on cruising , but Disney is way overpriced - menus hadn’t changed in a long time and the shows were all the same too - but they know how to do it right! I came to NCL because of the proximity to the cruise port we live in NH , and fell in love with the freestyle cruising - to me that is what it’s all about either do it or not - eating , games, shows nobody is forcing you to do anything except relax! I think it depends on how rigid you want to be with eating , honestly at least in my family that was and is one of the most important things we do on the cruise . At first I was comparing but that quickly stopped!!!

Maybe the go karts should be reserved for the Haven elitists only, and the rest of us down in steerage should only be allowed to watch. :D

Well then , feeling the love on the boards ! Then perhaps there needs to be separate lines for all events ! I expect to open my cabin to only Haven passengers during the cabin crawl , and will only exchange a gift with another Haven passenger - and for the meet and greet ? I assume that there will be completely separate times with Haven passengers going first of course [emoji1]. Any anyone that gets an upgrade to the Haven please be aware the like in the movie Rose will be dining in the main dining room and Jack will be completely ostracized

Well to be honest on the transatlantic there may not be a lot of sun - but with the roof closed (it’s all glass) it gets very nice and warm in there and the sun does shine through !! There is also the outside deck for sun and I actually fell asleep in the sun one day out in the Breakaways outside deck !
