  1. We will be on the Grandeur and I have checked RCCL and there are no excursions similar to what I'm looking for. There are snorkle sails but we are not arriving until mid afternoon and leaving around midnight so thought a sunset sail would be perfect. I will try calling the two that I found online that offer sails on different days other than Mondays

    Thanks

  2. We will be in Nassau on a Monday and will be there until midnight so thought we do a sunset catamaran but anything I find on line on do sails on Wednesday or Saturdays. Anyone have any idea of options on a Monday?

We'd like to leave right from the pier in Nassau

    Thanks

  3. Back in 2006 we were on a cruise on the Grandeur and there was a cruise director and I can't remember his name but I will never forget him. He appeared on several occasions wearing a disguise with a mullet wig and buck teeth. When he took on this persona, he was absolutely hilarious. We've been on 20+ cruises since then but have never enjoyed a CD as much as this guy.

Does anybody else remember him? Is he still working on Cruise ships?

    Thanks

  4. We have sailed many times on RCCL (D+) and there are so many nights that we would love to just sit and listen to a great guitar player singing Jimmy Buffet tunes, easy listening or even sing along. My suggestion for this would be, for instance, Rita's Cantina. There's plenty of seating, a bar, and the best thing would be that it's semi open to the sea air (or at least it was on the Brilliance). They talk about closing Rita's because they dont have enough utilization. Why not give people a reason to go? There's so many open decks that I would love nothing better than to enjoy good music, a cold beverage and to be outside. It doesn't seem like it would cost them much. We've tried to go into the pub on the Explorer to listen but it's such a dark dismal place, we end up leaving. I don't know about all of you, but i look so forward to go on a cruise that i want to really enjoy the fact that I'm at sea rather than being inside a bar. We sailed on the Celebrity Summit years ago and there was a great guitar player playing each night at the very end of the ship beyond the "Windjammer" (don't remember what they call it on that ship). I personnaly, couldn't wait to get through dinner so we could sit and listen until the wee hours.....

    Just my two cents....

  5. I'm currently booked in a cat L on the grandeur on the fourth floor but there are some Cat L cabins available on the 7th floor. These cabins appear to laid out "sideways" . Are the cabins any larger and does this layout mean there is a chair instead of a couch? I've tried searching but cannot find this information or any pictures. Any help is appreciated.

  6. As we are now Diamond Plus, we are able to choose our gift for our cabin when we arrive. I chose a bottle of wine for both my Dh and myself on our profiles but only received one. I didn't say anything at the time but wondered if we should have received two bottles. We are both Diamond Plus.

Not a big deal but just curious. We will be flying for our next 3 cruises so the extra bottle will come in handy.:)
