Certain higher level rooms receive invitations to dine with a senior officer as a perk. If this is your case, you will most likely be contacted once you are on board.
There is a way to let Regent know about dietary restrictions. 90 days prior to sailing email rsscops@rssc.com to let them know. Depending upon your situation, someone will contact you once on board about sitting down to talk. I am lactose intolerant, and this usually involves getting a copy of all menus the day before, and needing to select and drop off my choices at one of the breakfast venues the next morning.
You can make spa appointments in advance, but the exact address escapes me right now. See below.
Finally, there is a lot of information in the FAQ’s (including the answers to many of your questions) found all the way on the bottom of the landing/opening page at rssc.com.
We were all newbies once! Please don’t hesitate to ask more questions, and enjoy your cruise!

Ladys Mom,
Just be careful with all of your current FCC’s. Under the current policy, they must all be used (as in you must sail) by December 31, 2022.

I agree, please look at Regent. We have sailed on Regent ships several times, including the WC2017 and we are booked for the WC2023. We are also booked for Vancouver to Tokyo this Fall. If that’s a no-go, we are booked on Miami to Barcelona and on to Venice next Spring.
Everything, from the room, the food, the excursions, and the staff are top notch. We won’t sail with another line, unless the itinerary is a place that Regent doesn’t sail to.- 2

Yes, we’ve been aware for some time that all FCC has to be used by 12/31/22.
We are lucky we are retired. We have 2 segments booked for this Fall, 2 more segments booked for Spring ‘22 as a backup in case this Fall doesn’t work out, and finally a Fall ‘22 cruise to use it all up.
We are booked on the WC’23, and had hoped to use a lot of this FCC on that. That’s when we found out we had to use it all up by the end of ‘22.

You will be able to reserve in advance 1 night in Prime 7 and 1 night in Chartreuse. You might be able to make additional reservations in those restaurants once on board.
None of the other restaurants require reservations.
BTW, there is a wealth of knowledge in the FAQ’s on the Regent website. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the home page and look for FAQ’s.

Good point to ask about as we get closer to sailing.

I believe a curling iron is allowed.
You can look in the FAQ’s, Before You Sail, What Am I Allowed/Not Allowed to
Bring On Board. There’s a bunch of info there.

I believe a curling iron is allowed.

I just looked up the Terms and Conditions for myself, and the end date on my version is February 28, not March 1.

Thank you for this info!

We are currently booked on a Regent cruise in October, 2022. We mentioned this cruise to friends tonight, and they are very interested in joining us.
The current offer of the 2 suite upgrade expires tomorrow, and I don’t believe the Regent offices are open on Sunday. How can our friends book this cruise and take advantage of the upgrade offer?

I just ordered my favorites on Amazon; a repeat order from last year.

If you go up to Member Referral Credit and post your information there, I’m sure someone would be happy to “sponsor” you...

Sorry, not 2013, 2023!

We are booked on the Regent WC2023 and it too is pretty well sold out. Of course, things may change when the final payment date comes around. We were also on the Regent 2017 cruise, and that also had segments.

Regent includes everything you have listed.
We did the WC2017 and loved it. We are also booked on the WC2013, which I think is pretty well sold out.

We did 3 in one day in St. Petersburg, including the evening at Catherine’s Palace, which was wonderful.
If the system doesn’t allow you to book 3 now, wait until you are on the ship and ask at Destination Services.

LeCreuset’s are great- I have several at home in Baltimore and I’ve used them for years. For our vacation home here in Vermont I bought 2 Martha Stewart Dutch ovens at Macy’s and I love them as well. Can’t beat the price!

Currently, all FCC has to be used by December 31, 2022. We have a trip booked this coming September and October, using FCC. Not very hopeful that it will sail, since it begins in Vancouver. As a backup, we’ve booked an April, 2022 cruise on Splendor...and a NY to Montreal trip in the fall of 2022. We have a lot of FCC to use!

Laurie, I got migraines a long time ago (39 years!) when I changed prescribed medications. The migraines were truly debilitating. Have you changed medications lately? Just a thought.

Another thank you for posting this. We live in Baltimore, and would normally use BWI as our airport of choice. Very troubling report, and doesn't encourage us to plan flying anytime soon.

labonnevie,
Sorry I’m late in responding.
We canceled on March 6. On April 14 we received a guest cancellation statement through our TA . It stated what we had paid in total for the cruise which was x, then the cruise fare fee, which was y.That was the amount that we used as FCC for another cruise. When I subtracted the cruise fare fee from the amount we paid for the cruise, I was left with a balance still owed to us. That amount included $834 in shore excursions and a class for the 2 of us in the Culinary Kitchen. The rest I assume to be port fees and taxes.
We did get back either in the form of a refund or FCC everything we were owed.
-
Just got the full refund on our credit card for our taxes, fees etc. for our April 16, 2020 cruise on Splendor!
-
Scheduled cruise date: April 16, 2020
on Splendor
Canceled by us : March 5, 2020
Received today on our credit card: full reimbursement of taxes, port fees, extra money for excursions and Culinary Kitchen classes. Woo-hoo!
