Hi,
They are passenger vans and they get very crowded. For $2 more ( $4 per person each way), I would take a taxi van and then you can bring whatever you need.
What's a taxi van? Is it different than a taxi?

So on a cruise with 3 stops, a cabin with two adults is restricted to two cases of beer and 16 bottles of wine. Somehow that seems like it should be plenty. Each Guest 21 years and older may bring two bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750ml) or six beers (no larger than 12oz) onboard in carry-on luggage at the beginning of the voyage and at each port-of-call.
That's still a ton of alcohol!

You can only get 1 alcoholic beverage per card. So - you can't go down to the bar, and bring 4 drinks back to your room. If you have another person's card that says "Ultimate" (or what ever drink package you have) on the card, you can bring back two drinks.
The "10-15 minute time limit" only applies to the Coke Freestyle machines in the Windjammer and on the Promenade.
For the person you quoted - there are too many bartenders at too many bars who are happy to give you great service. Don't put up with underwhelming service. If one seems 'blah' find another and let other bartenders know that you got some bad service after tipping extra. They'll probably pay some close attention to you then.
Thanks for the heads up! :)

I think it was 10 minutes as well. I tried a few different things in the freestyle machine one day and discovered this when I tried for a 3rd drink.
I can't say I've ever seen a bartender swipe my card when I'm getting soda. They just looked at the card and gave it back to me.
My biggest problem with the drink packages is I believe the service has significantly decreased. The gratuity is pre-paid so they have no incentive to give you faster service. I've tried adding an additional gratuity and the only difference I ever saw was the bar service guy in the MDR would come around and check on me much more often, even though I'd only get 1 beer each night at dinner.
While I understand the reason to limit each person to 1 drink, I do get annoyed sometimes since I'd like to get a 2-3 at a time and go sit on my balcony.
What is this 1 drink limitation? Could you please provide more details? Will they not allow you to order a 2nd drink until you've finished the first one? Is this only in the MDR?

If anyone has MDR menus, that would be very helpful too!
Thank you!

Thanks for the info! How deep is the water at Sunset? I love snorkeling but I'm a weak swimmer.
