  1. I have been viewing cruises on other third party sites but we found a cruise we want to book and like to do it online through Celebrity rather then deal with calling. Plus would like to look at excursions and other things

  2. Hi,

Apologies if this has been asked before but whenever I try to get on celebrity's website for the last few weeks i get a "Please be patient with us as we improve your web experience. We’ll be back shortly!". Has anyone else had this problem?

  3. Hi Cruisers,

Looking for any recommedations for offsite-parking and shuttle at Port Everglades. A secure place at a reasonable price. We do not need a hotel but would prefer if a hotel just offers cruise parking and a shuttle. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, parking would be for 5 nights in mid October.

    Thank you

  4. Hi fellow cruisers,

I had a question regarding the alcohol package. I'm familiar with the different options and prices. Can anyone tell me if you have to purchase this day 1 for the whole cruise or can you purchase this on day 2 till the end? Also, do you have to pre purchase this online or can do it when you are on the ship?

    Thanks

  5. Hi cruisers,

It has been a while since i have cruised Royal Caribbean and i am unfamiliar with the rules on changes in price after final payment. We booked an interior stateroom with a resident special. The cruise which is now after final payment has dropped around $100 for our room. Is it possible to get a refund or OBC for that change in price. Or after final paymnet you are locked in?

I plan on calling Royal today but would like to have my information correct for when i call them.

    Thanks

  6. Hi. I'm looking into a 5 night sailing on the vision of the seas in October. It has been a number of years since I have sailed royal. I'm looking for a quick rundown of the food options available on this ship. Is there a grill, pizza place, what are the buffet stations, etc...Also if anyone has pictures of the food that would be helpful. Thanks in advance

  7. Nope, sorry "banana white chocolate bread pudding" does not sound very similar at all.

No bitter and Blanc :( Phooey on Carnival. No point sailing CCL anymore I guess.

If you take out the banana its practically the same dessert in my opinion. And if removing a dessert from the menu makes you not sail a cruise line, that is one of the most ridiculous things i have ever heard. I hope your just trolling us, which you and many others always do.

  8. I also have done the 'hop on/hop off trolley' and would recommend it for a first time visitor. Its a great way to see the island and not worry about the hassle of navigating yourself. In return trips we have pretty much walked Duval and enjoyed the various bars and restaurants key west has to offer.

  9. Personally i love the look of the new menu. I don't see how complaints about less selection is warranted. There are 9 options of appetizers; 6 in the "appetizer", one rare finds, one in ports of call, and one in sides. Of those 8 dishes; 2 are salads, one soup, and a variety of others. There are 10 different entree options; 5 "mains" which change, 4 "from the grill", and 1 "port of call".

All those people previously chirping about having meatloaf and fried chicken being offered, your wish came true. More quality steaks are being offered, not just the "flat iron".

I will agree that the dessert selection has been reduced but it still looks good to me. Disappointed not see the "bitter and blanc" but the "banana white chocolate bread pudding" sounds very similar. Change is hard for some, especially fore those people that cruise multiple times per year and are accustomed to the usual carnival menu.

Also remember this is currently a test run on the glory and necessary changes will be made.

  10. Has anyone used A1 express parking in Tampa? It looks like they mostly do airport parking but according to their website they also have cruise parking (shuttle that leaves at 1pm and picks you up after the cruise at 10am). I have called to inquire and was told the shuttle will leave anytime you want. Can anybody verify this information? Receiving contradicting information is never fun so im hoping someone has first hand experience,

  11. Taking a 4 day cruise on the Paradise and planning on buying the cheers program but have a few questions.....

If we buy it the second day of the cruise will we be charged for 3 or 4 days?

Do non-alcoholic drinks count towards the 15 drink limit?

If i get a classic cocktail, can i still get the match-play coupon?

How long do you have to wait to order another drink (i.e. can i order more then one at a time or do I have to wait a certain amount of time)?

Any other helpful information about the program would be greatly appreciated.

  12. Sailing on the Carnival Paradise and we are looking for a relaxing day in Cozumel at the beach. We are not looking for an all you can eat/drink package. Just a nice beach that is free or has a small fee, a bar/restaurant would be nice but not mandatory. Thanks for the help.
