Does anyone know anything about the 2 bedroom suites at this hotel? Are they located across the street from the standard hotel rooms?
-
Dave, that would be awesome!!! Thank you so much.

I am using Beachline in June. The price they quoted was $27.50 pp. I thought that was very reasonable. If you would like, I can report back when I get back from my trip. So far, I haven't had any problems with making our reservation.

Thanks again Shirley. I don't know what I would do without you and everyone else on these boards.

a pool and a bar would be nice too. If you don't really suggest any of the above and have others that come to mind, I woulld love to hear your feedback. :)
Thanks again :)

OK - now the Doubletree is across the street from a shopping mall and the only restaurant is an Italian in that mall - shopping is limited and nope you are not close to the pier BUT the DT is right on the ocean and they do have a nice bar and lounge there.
The Hampton Inn is nice also but not right on the beach, but you can walk not only to the beach but there are also so many places there - you have ron Jon's, shopping, restaurants etc -
whichever choice you make, I believe you will enjoy yourself.
Hope that helped you some
Shirley,
Thank you for your reply, it helped a great deal. I crossed DT off my list since it sounds like there isn't much entertainment in that area. So now between the Hampton Inn, Best Western and La Quinta which one would you suggest. I'm trying to stay on a budget since it's only for one night, but I don't want to end up at a dump either. Oceanfront would be great, but if it's 1/2 block from the beach, I wouldn't really mind. I want to be close to the beach, walking distance to nightly entertainment, and a nice, decent, clean hotel. I don't mind if there is a shuttle to the port because I can always take a taxi.

I'm looking for a beach front hotel near all (restaurants, bars, pier?) out of the Hampton Inn and Double tree which would be the better hotel?

I'm not sure about making a stop but beachline charges $27.50 pp from MCO to Cocoa Beach

This site has been a great source of information. Thank you all for posting all of the useful information. I just contacted http://www.beachlinetransportation.net and they gave me, what I thought to be a very good rate of $27.50 pp each way from MCO to Cocoa Beach. Has anyone used this service? Are they realiable and on time? I only have two people in my party and wasn't sure if they hold the van until they have more passengers going to the same destination.

Leaving out of Port Canavral one day prior to my cruise. I'm looking for a nice hotel, with a pool and preferably on the beach or within a short walk to a beach, and a short taxi ride or shuttle to the Port. Any suggestions?

I think having those two nights to get "extra" dressed up makes the cruise vacation a little more interesting. Besides...it's fun to get all dolled up!! Well at least for us woman! I know that most men would rather not get dressed up :p

I'm sure this is too late, but I was able to view the picture. The dress (looked tan with ruffled skirt) would be PERFECT on a cruise. Not too formal at all.
IMHO
Thanks!!! I always get dressed up for formal night but wasn't sure if that was over the top. I love that dress and it is so comfortable so I will defintelly take your advice on wearing it. Thanks so much!! :D

hmmmmm. I am signed on at the office now and I am able to see the second picture that I posted but not the first one. This is so strange. But you guys can't see any of them. I'll have to try again.

You don't? Does anyone else? I can see both pictures that I posted. :(

I wore this to my friends wedding and was planning on wearing it on next years cruise, but it may be too dressy..not really sure though

Can anyone describe the Hot Stone Massage? I was thinking about having that done. I usually get a full body massage and love that. Also, what is the cost for the sweedish and hot stone? Is it better to book spa services right away or should I wait for discounts? I remember discounts on the days we are in port when most people are out and about but I don't remember discounts being available on the evenings.
