Awesome review. Thank you for taking the time to put this together for us.

I have never ordered the soda, but have pre ordered water. I believe you can order more from room service. I can't remember if we ever restocked during the cruise or if or initial order was sufficient.
If you drink slot of soda, you are better off getting the soda package. The per can price of pre purchase or ala cart is ridiculous.

I have my 12 packs in place and ready to go. I want to drink water on board, but it's going to be sodas for me because of the no water bottle policy. Not a huge deal, just kinda disappointing.
You can get 12 1/2 liter bottles delivered to your cabin for $4.50. Royal charges $40 for 12 one liter bottles.

The horror. You're such a savage. This one time, I took a plate of food and sat at the buffet area to eat it.Sent from my Essential PH-1 using Forums mobile app

Unfortunately I have seen this done and none of the staff said anything to stop them. Left a huge mess after the show. Not quite. You can't take plates of food into the show lounges.Sent from my Essential PH-1 using Forums mobile app

In my opinion, the Sea Day Brunch, is the best food available that is included without an up charge.
I haven't tried the port day MDR breakfast. We usually hit up The Blue Iguana for awesome breakfast burritos.

Should be a link near the bottom of your cruise planner page. I am going off of memory as I don't have a cruise scheduled with Carnival at this time.

Yes it is. Your plan wouldn't work for this night. Best would be to change Steak House to another night.Isn't the baked Alaska served in a parade all at once? The baked Alaska is paraded out with the servers having the whole cake and then cutting them up for individual servings at their work stations.

They will ask what your preference is. We have always chose to dine with others, but it just 2 of us.

Thanks for the review. Just FYI. Carnival sea day brunch, in the main dining room, is so much better than Lido buffet. Short cruises you won't have much opportunity to experience the joy of the brunch.

Sweet. I didn't realize you were so close to your sail date.
Long Beach terminal is the smoothest check in we have experienced. It seemed like the majority of people weren't interested to get on the ship early, unlike or experience with Galveston.

Thanks. It was on sale for our upcoming Cruise on The Liberty. Saved $130 for 2 refreshment packages for 7 days.

If getting on the ship as early as possible, you could try to score Faster to the Fun. Then you could get on as soon as they start boarding regardless of what your boarding assignment says.

FYI. If you like the MDR cheese plate, you will love the steak house cheese plate. Same flavors but way more expensive cheese, plus a lot bigger portion.

Maybe the movie playing on your cruise was more artistic in nature instead of an action movie.I stayed in the same stateroom as the OP (10296) and I’m here to tell you that it wasn’t that bad. Yes, you can hear the movie but it’s not that bad. It did not vibrate us out of the bed, we did not notice the walls vibrating either. We loved being right on the lido deck, in the heart of all the action. Literally steps from the lido deck/pool.If you go to bed early, maybe this isn’t the stateroom for you. Personally, we’d book it again.
I hope this helps someone who freaked out after reading the OP’s review.

Thank you for the review. Hardly anybody talks about this ship on CC. It will be our first RC cruise. Sounds like we will have a great time.
We are used to Galveston from our sailings on Carnival Freedom. I love Park and Cruise. Not really that much more $ for covered secure parking.

Check their sign and sail cards. It may be printed on the card. I don't have my blue card handy to check but all my other cards have it.

Unless your sailing has a bunch of diamond and platinum some extra slots should become available.
As a backup plan, you can time it so you get on the ship around 1:30 pm so you can go straight to your cabin to drop your stuff off.

If you drink a lot of soda, it is totally worth getting Bottomless Bubbles. $8 a day and you can drink as many as you want. Don't have to deal with all the hassel your going through since your flying to the port day off cruise.

My last cruise FTTF became available less than a week from sailing. I can almost guarantee that it will become available at a closer date. As the ship fills up they will know how many priority passengers are booked and make available FTTF any extra priority spots.
It helps if your an early riser. I have always been able to snag it at 0400 (checking every day) when most people are in bed still.
Good Luck.

No, the last 2 cruises I got BB and wife did not. Also any soda I got in US Port I was charged tax on the value of the individual drink. Galveston, Key West and Long Beach. And if I remember correctly, I think I was taxed while at anchor off of Catalina island.do both adults in a cabin have to buy bottom less bubbles like they do cheers?Sent from my FRD-L04 using Forums mobile app

I've been checking multiple times daily for my November cruise as well, it's been sold out since I booked several months ago. We have never cruised without FTTF before, but it's honestly starting to feel like a part time job with all the checking. I'm starting to wonder if it's worth my time anymore. I'll probably keep doing it though. :')
I usually start my regular routine of checking around final payment time. This far out from your cruise they don't know how many priority passengers they have yet to release max amount of FTTF.

We sailed her late 2018 and she did not have the freestyle machines. Liberty was scheduled to get the Amped upgrades this year but Covid changes the schedule. When did you sail her that she had the freestyle coke machine?
