She did, but with new protocols that might change. Similar to staff serving us at buffets.

We sailed her late 2018 and she did not have the freestyle machines. Liberty was scheduled to get the Amped upgrades this year but Covid changes the schedule. When did you sail her that she had the freestyle coke machine?

  2. I have never ordered the soda, but have pre ordered water. I believe you can order more from room service. I can't remember if we ever restocked during the cruise or if or initial order was sufficient.

If you drink slot of soda, you are better off getting the soda package. The per can price of pre purchase or ala cart is ridiculous.

I have my 12 packs in place and ready to go. I want to drink water on board, but it's going to be sodas for me because of the no water bottle policy. Not a huge deal, just kinda disappointing.

You can get 12 1/2 liter bottles delivered to your cabin for $4.50. Royal charges $40 for 12 one liter bottles.

  4. Isn't the baked Alaska served in a parade all at once?
Yes it is. Your plan wouldn't work for this night. Best would be to change Steak House to another night.

The baked Alaska is paraded out with the servers having the whole cake and then cutting them up for individual servings at their work stations.

  5. I stayed in the same stateroom as the OP (10296) and I’m here to tell you that it wasn’t that bad. Yes, you can hear the movie but it’s not that bad. It did not vibrate us out of the bed, we did not notice the walls vibrating either. We loved being right on the lido deck, in the heart of all the action. Literally steps from the lido deck/pool.

If you go to bed early, maybe this isn’t the stateroom for you. Personally, we’d book it again.

I hope this helps someone who freaked out after reading the OP’s review.

Maybe the movie playing on your cruise was more artistic in nature instead of an action movie.

  6. My last cruise FTTF became available less than a week from sailing. I can almost guarantee that it will become available at a closer date. As the ship fills up they will know how many priority passengers are booked and make available FTTF any extra priority spots.

It helps if your an early riser. I have always been able to snag it at 0400 (checking every day) when most people are in bed still.

    Good Luck.

  7. I've been checking multiple times daily for my November cruise as well, it's been sold out since I booked several months ago. We have never cruised without FTTF before, but it's honestly starting to feel like a part time job with all the checking. I'm starting to wonder if it's worth my time anymore. I'll probably keep doing it though. :')

I usually start my regular routine of checking around final payment time. This far out from your cruise they don't know how many priority passengers they have yet to release max amount of FTTF.
