If you are lazy like me, and just want "something" you can purchase Carnival's (The one they offer, even though it's 3rd party), up to 6 weeks in advance of departure.

Or that's what they said when I called them.

We where scheduled to cruise on the Liberty when it was cancelled for propulsion problems. Carnival didn't cancel the cruise until the evening beforehand, even though all week before they kept sending alerts that the cruise was leaving as scheduled.

We had traveled to the Houston area and just got to our hotel when the cancellation alerts came through. Carnival did us right. Refunded our $ and credit us same amount for future cruise.

Drove home next day and made a claim on the insurance for the travel expenses and the insurance through Carnival wouldn't pay a dime.

I've never understood people's concern about resurrecting an old thread! If the info is still relevant, what's the harm? If it's not, update it so people know what's changed!

 

And if a new thread was started, there would be people complaining that there are a ton of threads out there already on this topic, why create a new thread?

 

Geesh, people!

Well in this case the policies being debated and questioned have absolutely no bearing on today's policies on bringing beverages onboard. If a thread has been dead for 5 years, nobody is going to say anything about starting a new post on the subject.

On the other hand you have topics like Cheers, that has a new thread started almost daily asking the same questions over and over again that could have been added to an existing thread that was current.

If you have the hub app can you also talk to someone at home with it? Do data rates still apply??

The hub app works on the ships internal servers and you can only connect with other devices on the ship.

YouTube CruiseTipsTV. Great channel. I am pretty sure they are members of CC under a different name. Long Beach is their HomePort so you will get a lot of info applicable to your cruise.

It is not just the 2 competitors on stage during the show. The dancers onstage with props ect. Going all out during the song. Going by the crowds response, I think everybody that was there was having a good time, us included.

Our last cruise on the Freedom was the inaguration of Lip Sync Battle on her. The first sea day they had the competition for the 2 contestants. 1 male and 1 female. I believe they each recieved spa treatments sometime thru the week.

The male contestant made a comment that he didn't know it was going to be as big of a commitment throughout the whole cruise. They had a lot of rehearsals and other events that they had to show up about every day.

The last sea day is when they had the main event. We enjoyed it alot. They even had the children from the kids clubs come up on stage and do an act between the main events.

I don't want kids and families. I want people in their 20s/30s. Maybe May would be an okay time?

People in their 20s/30s are the ones with kids usually. Late 30s into 40s gets you families with teenagers and young adults.

I think you can only see the signature of you are using non mobile browser. I have never seen any Sig's with Tapatalk, cc mobile or mobile browser page. Only if I put my browser in desktop mode on mobile device.

It changes every night, however there is a section that stays the same. It was the "From the grill" section.

Bottomless Bubbles requires you to go-to a bar to get your soda. Your choice will be dispensed in a glass with ice from a 12 oz can by the bartender. There are bars all over the ship so you are always close by to get a soda whenever you want.

If you cruise out of Galveston and dine early enough that you haven't reached international waters, you won't get your wine untill you cross the line.

We dined at 6pm and didn't get our bottle untill our meal was almost over. They let us take it unopened with us as we where to full to drink the wine at that point.
