Do u know what upgrades she is getting

There are some other threads around that talk about her upgrades if you search around. Click the Carnival Splendor hyperlink at the top of the page to find them. I'm going on her on January 31st for one of her final sailings before she goes in for upgrades. It was a cheap cruise though so I couldn't pass it up. :)

My wife and I and some neighbors are considering going on the Splendor in January or February 2016. Sounds like the upgrades won't be there yet, but the ports of call are what is drawing us to that cruise. We've been on the Conquest and Valor, but it's been several years. Should we consider something else then since it's getting ready to be upgraded? How would they upgrade it so quickly and have it ready for March 2016 if it's still in rotation in January and February?
