I think it's all good as long as the bananas aren't anywhere near the ketchup and mayo. :D

Murphy's law strikes again!

Another vote for Giovanni's! Mm mm that lasagna.
-
I can't say I'm a huge fan of the roast beef, but I do quite enjoy the panini at Park Cafe. I missed them while I was on Freedom.
-
I've always had to contact them re: solo double points. They take care of it quickly!
-
I'm sorry we won't be seeing any more reviews from you! I love your approach to cruising.
(I also wish I hadn't missed the one that got you sent to the naughty step. I bet it was a hoot to read. :( )

If that's how I go out at least I'll go out looking fabulous. :D

If you don't like Meatloaf why not Cher it and turn back time:D
👍 I wanted to give this post some love!

I have a few questions about FOS. We are doing MTD and was wondering if all cruisers who are not locked into a time are seated in the same area every night. Also I noticed that there is a Michael Kors store on board. Please tell me its an outlet store. LOL
I'm sorry to say it's not an outlet!

I've stayed on board for most of my cruises. For me the destination is the ship, not the islands. I doubt you'll be bored, especially on the Allure. :)
-
I had a connecting room on my last trip on the Freedom and didn't experience any noise issues then. It really depends on your neighbors-to-be though!

I struggle to see where the honor is in gambling.
Looks like I'm past the edit time.
I just wanted to clarify that I'm not a seafaring Cotton Mather wannabe here. The only time I'll claim to be a Puritan is within earshot of my mother. :D
With that a said, a game of chance is a game of chance, and slot machines have been called "one-armed bandits" for what, 60 or 70 years now.

Cruisin' with the 'maters- I like where your head's at!
-
Yes but can I have the full tomato experience without the proper ambiance? :p
-
I swear this next cruise I'm going to set my alarm to get to the MDR for breakfast just so I can experience the legendary tomato.

Not all ships on all cruise lines have hair dryers so you cannot make a blanket statement that all do. It varies by line and even by ships within a line.
This thread began in the RCI forum before getting moved, hence the line-specific answer. :)
Thank you pandaball so it's ok to bring your own hairdryer? Would a hair straightener be allowed also - apologies for questions, it's my first cruise!Yes for both. I don't go anywhere without mine!
-
I've been on Deck 3 a number of time and never had any noise issues. Just wish there weren't so many stairs to the upper decks!
-
It takes all kinds I guess! :D
-
Do the cabins have a hairdryer?
They do but they're pretty weak. Unless you've got very short hair I'd take your own travel dryer that has more oomph.
-
Get there by 11:30 or wait until after cabins open at 1:00 and it's not that busy.
Oh I definitely eat early on boarding day, as I'm usually too excited for breakfast. :D

With the current policy you have the option for both as Diamonds have access to the lounge along with the 3 drink coupons on their SeaPass card. So you would have the option to not be stuck in the lounge if you didn't want to be and can enjoy your drinks elsewhere. :)
That works for me! Although I like whoever it was earlier who suggested five vouchers instead of three :D
-
Unfortunately not on Freedom.
Aw.
Windjammer it is then. Thank you!
-
As a soon to be Diamond I would honestly prefer drink vouchers to being stuck in a lounge, however exclusive. YMMV.
Whats your favorite Caribbean ports to just stay on the ship?

I always try to stay on board at Port Canaveral and Port Everglades but they're always so insistent I get off the ship.
