OMG No !!!! Never...

Been cruising since I was a child with my parents

My whole family are and have been sea lovers and excited as ever each time a ship departs

My only 'miserable' time is the hour or two of seasickness

No phone or internet use at sea either - cut the lines of communication - if I am needed, they can phone :D

Is there a 'right' age?

Being in your 50s too young?

Are children catered for onboard RTW?

Definitely 2 pairs of swimmers /sunscreen/hat

2 Sarongs

And anything that fits into no more than 2 bags pp - lots of mix and match, a couple of non ott formal type clothing mixes, a couple of cooler outfits that mix n match - one good jacket and one good vest that can be mixed with long sleeve tops for cold/rainy days

Real question is - how many $$$$ to take lol

The well televised ship in early December had Noro and so had The Eden sailing in behind it with some 150 cases I believe, although it was not mentioned

I did take notice that on The Eden the hand sanitizer stood idle at both ends of dining areas - no staff, just lonely Sanitizer stands with gel in it - I did use it both in and out of the dining areas as that is what I am accustomed to do - have never had gastro on a ship

After the outbreak staff attended the Sanitizer area and insisted it be used, and all foods and drinks were distributed by staff, pool and spas emptied and staff more than usual sanitizing handrails etc

(I once read that one of the most germ prone areas are your car steering wheel)..... yoohoo Captain!!!! lol

Wow !!!!.... interesting to read about cruises and trips to come and some things we enjoy to do

Looking hopefully to cruise around Oz and of course the World Cruises - the itinerary for 2017 is great with Malta, Norway plus plus and then of course too hehe theres that Indian Ocean cruise that's currently underway.... gosh so many places to go....

Lifes for living n u only get one go....:cool:

Hopeful they repeat it January 2018 - watching every day for 2018 cruises to release... :D

K - I will start -

I play the piano

I desire to do a World Cruise

Elastic bands - good for sealing up bags of chippies and peanuts etc

Freezer Bags - for odds and ends

yep... that's it..... get on that ship and just enjoy enjoy enjoy - cant think of a bad day on a cruise (although - can think 'omg what am I doing here' in the midst of being sea sick lol... that's now ha)

How many times do I hear people say "I wish I could go on a cruise" or "You are just so lucky".... just do it :) - life is for living!!

this morning - I logged on to find Princess selling their Oceanview Cabins for $15,000 Sydney to Sydney Round The World May 2016, a drop of 10-12 thousand - all other cabins listed as SOLD - miraculously after lunch - all cabins levels were back to their usual prices with the amazing OBC still at $80 ..

This would be a cruise I would be interested in

And I remember seeing Inside Cabin at around 4,000 AUD

Wonder if its a 2nd yearly cruise??
