The July 14th sailing was listed in their brochure, Chicago to Montreal.

No, the 5th was from Montreal to Chicago.

Gosh.....I loved those giraffes!!

 

 

There were lots more animals to see' date=' though.

 

 

About halfway through the tour, we stopped at another area of the park and walked around where we saw pumas, jaguars, and peacocks. Quite nice.

Debbie, it is on my bucket list also, I may do a Princess Cruise out of LA or San Francisco it would be a 28 day cruise and return to LA or SF, no air and it goes to Hawaii and down to the South Pacific, Bora Bora and Tahiti:eek::cool:

Royal used to have a way to see specific deployment areas by ship, but they removed that in the latest update. Now you can only search by general area, such as Transatlantic, Europe, Alaska, etc.

Thanks Bob, I don't know what port or what Itinuery I would like to do unless I see more then one port to sail out of and the ports they go to:(

It doesn't help those that don't have a set cruise in their minds or want to see what goes from a specific port.

I used to like that Search feature they took away.:(

Well my birthday arrived and my darling husband HAS booked us on the inaugural Anthem cruise on the 22nd April

 

Did I confess that I had been told in error by a phone call from RCI ....

No , I will keep that secret and maybe one day tell him but not yet.

After reading everyone's views and after a lot of thought . I couldn't spoil his suprise for me, he would have been so disappointed.

 

So... Off we go next week,

You will love this cruise ship as I did the Maiden Voyage on the Quantum and we are going back to Southampton for the Anthem Maiden TA Voyage in Oct:cool:

We did a very similar itinerary in Jan/2009 on HAL Ryndam ship. It was a 30 night cruise, roundtrip out of San Diego. We had 4 days @sea to Hawaiian Islands, 6 days in the Hawaiian Islands, 5 days @sea down to the South Pacific, with port days in Raitai, Bora Bora (overnight for 2 days), Tahiti, Moorea, a day @sea, Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas, and 8 days @sea back to San Diego. We absolutely LOVED this sailing. The South Pacific is FANTASTIC. I would love to go back!! Unfortunately, RC does not offer any type of sailing like this. If you get a chance to do this, GO!!

I would do it on a HAL also if the Princess wasn't doing it:D

Ski, I am just planning ahead but I have seen it out for this year and I think 2016 but I will wait till 2017, they do it in the spring and fall, when I see the dates I will copy them and find you as I do see where you are all the time:cool:

I am really surprised that they will not have an R Bar or a Champagne Bar.

 

This was usually one of the most popular meeting places on the ship.

 

I went for 'fake' caviar almost daily. I noticed they did not have the caviar event on the Oasis TA though, but it was missed by me.

 

I found the Bionic Bar on Quantum only a novelty and not somewhere I would spend any time, but they might update the concept for Harmony. I am hoping that it can serve as a late night spot now that they have taken away the always packed Blaze.

Where are you seeing the plans for the Harmony as I still have not found them yet?:confused:

Champagne bar has always been dead whenever I looked in it on Oasis & Allure which is why I thought it would be a good place for the Bionic Bar and no other bar nearby...well apart from the Rising Tide Bar.

 

I never saw the BB work once on Quantum, fingers crossed it works on Harmony :D

 

I am shocked they have taken away Blaze :eek: Dazzles doesn't have the same night club feel about it. :confused:
