  1. Coffee timer and this includes prep time for a blended drink. They were slamming out the drinks quick, ready for the incoming sea day rush.
  2. As cruise ship buffets go, that was a pretty good breakfast. I was the first through that just opened line and the salmon benedict was still fresh and egg was nice and runny 😋. Scrambled eggs were not cold and watery and had a nice cheesy flavor. Even got real sausages instead of cut up hot dogs. The hash browns were the only miss.
  3. Good, but did not hot the spot. Will need to ask for bigger servings of the fillings next time. Supplement plate to keep me full till lunch.
  4. Beat the morning crowds. This may be, not it is, the smallest burrito I've ever been given.
  5. I prefer the 8 day day that hits the southern Caribbean but oh well. St.thomas is very pretty and my favorite sunset pic of all time was from there, from this ship actually. So far I can't complain it's been a great trip, just took some getting used to more people after sailing smaller ships for so many days.
  6. She was so funny. I hope I get to see her again. I missed her shows in the comedy club and she leaves tomorrow. Glad you had some downtime! Thanks for spending it catching up, good to have you along 😀
  7. Good morning everyone. It's a little early but after how long I slept yesterday I'm just not tired. Plus I'm sleeping well, this bed is literally perfect. Today is our first sea day. I'm in the mood for a burrito this morning so I'm going to get ready and go grab some blue iguana for breakfast.

  9. I don't get it often anymore but I was hoping with the new menu they would revamp the recipe. No luck.

I'm trying not to turn into mr. get off my lawn but I'm sitting far off in the balcony with nothing but empty seats all around when a family of seven with five young kids sits down in front of me. I moved. Show was good. Not great, but I don't think any Playlist Production will ever be called great. At the piano bar now. Made it inside. Country roads 🎶
  11. He was good. I like the seating up on four. The only downside is not everyone is there to enjoy the music. The non stop public blowing of raspberries between the family near me accompanied by oohs and ahhs of what a good fart that was got old quick. It went on for quite a while. At America Rocks now. Been a while since I watched it, I don't remember liking it as much as epic rock but I'm gonna watch it again and see.
  12. I try to still like it. It's got a very good flavor to it. The onions just don't belong.
  13. Be sure to check her out. She was the best I've ever seen. Those spring rolls were in the buffet too if I wasn't stuffed I'd go get some. They are pushed back and you have to have them served to you but I would have no shame asking for 16 of them 😆

  15. The dessert wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad I just didn't care for the flavor. It was the sugar free dessert and it had a bitter taste. Not like fake sugar bitter, but a black coffee bitter. I drink my coffee with a ton of sugar. The texture was also too mushy which I understand is to be expected from a pot de creme but I wasn't a fan. The lady next to me left hers uneaten. Overall a very great meal. Off to a great start.
  16. The fish itself was obviously a cheaper fish. But the dish overall had a lot of great flavors going on that made for a great dish. I think what Emeril was tasked with doing here was creating low cost items that had great flavors and he knocked it out of the park with this one. If you are heat adverse, the sausage was spicy. You could eat around it but I think the flavor profile of this dish is dependent on each ingredient bringing something to it. The carbonara is not new. I'm not a fan of the onions that were added to the dish recently. It was good other than that and came out nice and hot. I wanted to try the new beef dish but was not confident I'm the quality to give it a try. So far I think next week I'll give it a try. Food's been good so far. Cappuccino pot de creme 854
  17. Spring roll was AMAZING. Piping hot like it was fresh from the fryer less than a minute ago. Very nice crunch and the beef inside had a great flavor. The BBQ sauce also had a nice flavor. All around excellent dish! The poke was good. Everything tasted fresh and I enjoyed it. I just needed more. Very small portion. Would probably not get again but it did taste good. Cast iron bronzed fish and pasta carbonara 837
  18. They take your order on a phone now. Interesting. Doesn't seem to be speeding things up though. BBQ beef spring roll and Hawaiin shrimp poke 823.
  19. Table ready at 751. I'm really excited for the new menus. First time I've not had the same menus on Carnival since 2016. It looks great, I hope it's as good as it looks. Magic has not been getting good food reviews.
  20. Dinner menu on Lido. Two lines open, both about the same length. Ran the timer to see how long the line took.
  21. While I was here I hit the gym and got my walking in for the day. Getting a little hungry but gonna wander a little before I head to dinner since I'm not planning to do anything tonight.
  22. I don't know what ended up happening. I'll keep an ear out.
