Cunard agrees. Among the questions in their FAQ section was "can I bring my own bed onboard." Say what?

Bought an iced coffee today too much work involved to make my own. While there I noticed they had a blender so I asked if they do Frappuccinos and she said yes. Tomorrow will be a Frappuccino day 😀

Back on board. Ibiza is such a gorgeous city and even in the daytime it was already buzzing and you can tell it has an exciting nightlife. It has a real south beach type feel to it. Valiant lady has just pulled out so I guess last night was her overnight as I believe they stay overnight in this port for a chance to sample the nightlife. I wanted to watch her sail away but I'm out of energy need to rest and recharge for a bit.

The fish was also good. A lighter option so not super filling but that's probably not a bad thing since I ordered two desserts. Baked cheesecake. Dark chocolate and orange mousse.

Very nice and fresh flavor. Next I got the filet of cod. And my mom got the angry shrimp pasta.

Fair enough, make it an overnight stop. At the port talk for Valencia the presenter kept talking about something and then saying "oh but this is closed because it is Sunday " I suspect I would not be in the majority in majority. They were distraught to be coming here at all 😆. I heard several grumbling about this port stop.

Meant to be this late. We are also in port until the evening but not really late enough to enjoy the nightlife the city is famous for.

The gangway is open. Going to let the masses leave and leave later. Probably do some lunch first. Temperature is 77, high of 79 today but the humidity is making it feel much warmer.

Pulling into Ibiza now. It sure is pretty out but for the first time this trip since Bermuda it's hot out. Coupled with the late arrival I'm not sure how far into port I'm going to make it before the temperature wears me out.

This is bordering on scandalous. I suppose supply chain issues will be the excuse but I expect some OBC at this point if I am ever to consider to return to such a second rate cruise line.

I made it to the library to use their computers. I had intended to start getting my day trips caught up. I was able to login but the internet was painfully slow. I tried to do a speed test to see if they were using Starlink or a different service being hardwired to a connection. Too slow to even get a reading. I was most definitely connected, things were loading just very very slowly. I switched back to my phone and tried another test. Same thing, they must be blocking access which is pretty shady IMHO. Nevertheless speeds on my phone are just fine and I can't say I've ever experienced the hardwired computers being slower than a signal bouncing from router to router. I will keep trying but I may not get to post those until I'm on freedom.

Breakfast. Absolutely nowhere to sit. If I had one negative that just really sticks out its how small the seating area is here. I ended up eating in the garden lounge as did several others.

Good morning. I slept hard last night, probably the hardest I've slept all trip. We won't be in Ibiza until 1130. There will be a shuttle to take us into town but I suspect the line to board them will be long so it might not be until later in the afternoon before we try. Getting ready now and making my way out for some breakfast.
