Today's activities

Service at brunch was a little disappointing. First time they dropped the ball this trip. Water was never refilled and dessert never came. He even asked if I needed anything before the kitchen closes and I reminded him about my dessert. I tried to get his attention but nobody would look up from resetting the tables and unless it was on a serving table somewhere I am not sure he could have gotten it then anyway.

Came to Lido for dessert.

I'm not sure if my dessert is coming.

Brunch burger and cheese grits 1236.

Funship with my brunch coupon 1221. I call it a coupon because for the first time ever, I was charged the difference over the value of the voucher last cruise. Never had that happen before even though it was always supposed to only cover $11.

Made it into brunch at 1205. I noticed a vegan brunch menu listed.

+2.6 today. Says a new steps record but I don't think that is accurate I recall hitting 21k last year walking around Seattle on foot. Brunch is a 20-30 minute wait but it won't let me check in because they checked me in with my mom this am. Guess I will go check in in person.

Good morning. It is 1008 ship's time and we are now on Barcelona time. Walk a mile with Andy is at 1030 so I'm getting up despite how heavy my eyes still are.

I'm back in the room now and winding down for the day. We have one final time change and one final sea day left this cruise. I need to firm up my plans for our Spanish ports tomorrow but I think I am going to just take it easy since we will visit each port twice and one of them (I can't remember which) we will hit three times since we will visit it on the Queen Elizabeth. Line for late night snacks was long tonight. I hoped that meant it would be fresh. Success. Late night munchies food was yummy tonight.

Walked through casino again at 1230.....still 90% full. Any of the popular games still claimed. This cruise is only profitable thanks to the casino. I can't be mad at it, I've spent 0 in there and my small on-board spend hasn't turned a profit for ccl.

I think any insulated "water" bottle will do the trick. I have that one and another that a friend got from Atlantis. This one has a big opening so easier to fill without spilling. Seriously the best casino gift I've ever gotten and I think I have gotten two from them.

Dj days he's gonna switch it up after this song. It's a bunch of 20 somethings on the dance floor so maybe some fire coming. Right now.... We are family 🎵

I feel like this night has potential. Alchemy is hopping. All over the ship is still busy. Nightclub is dead. They've moved from 50s and 60s music to 70s and 80s. Gonna get one more drink from Alchemy to see if the night club can come alive.

Just did a pass through. It's 1113 ship time. Casino is still I'd say 90-95% full. Very very few games open anywhere and certainly none of the popular games.

If you have DOUE you don't need a mobile bar 😂. This was a gift from the casino on an Ultra cruise years ago. Has got more use than any casino or vifp gift I've ever gotten. You've got what it takes 🎶

Throwback hour with dj milk d. Dessert with vodka from Alchemy. He called it a strawberry cheesecake but it has chocolate and cherries so I was skeptical but I can totally taste a strawberry cheesecake. My girl 🎶

Moved inside to catch 80s pop to the max. Moving from my usual spot in the balcony down to deck 3. Holiday 🎶

Stopped in the casino to check on the drink situation, didn't look promising so I've taken my mobile bar and I'm outside just me, my phone, and the ocean. Non smoking side is open and it's a bit too chilly for most people so I may have some peace and quiet to sip on my champagne and listen to the ocean.
