Hair braiders pavilion. I couldn't really get a wide picture of it to show how big it was, there were just too many people inside. This shows it a little better. More walking, there are two rows of shops, so you can take one coming and one leaving if you want to make sure you see them all. Another set of bathrooms. I was very careful with the angle because this is a very wide open bathroom.

There is a directory available to get an idea where everything is and to come up with a game plan if you need one. Museum of Junkanoo I wanted to get through the outside as quick as possible because my face was melting off. I stopped in on the way back and there was an $11 admission fee. I was not interested. There was a small gift shop open to the public. Walking A peek inside one of the shops.

While waiting on the video to start over I got a couple pictures of the ships in port. I had wanted to walk to the far end and get the Royal ships but it was just too dang hot. Conquest drew the short straw and was docked at the farther piers with Royal. Bathrooms right at the port entrance, or right before you come back to the ship depending on which direction your going. They had a water fountain big enough to fill your water bottle. Nifty. If you go straight, you exit the port area and are immediaetly in downtown Nassau. Turn right to walk through the new area.

As soon as you reach the port area, you are greeted by this giant 3d screen with a number of very cool short videos playing. First one I got was basic because it had drawn quite a crowd and I couldn't get close until the neat ones finished. Later I got these which looked very neat in person, they don't quite come out on camera but in person they are 3d and appear to be coming at you.

Stepping off the ship there are shaded areas which are definitely appreciated. It was a hot one out and it got even hotter once I was out of the covering. I think this is also an excursion meeting spot as each section was numbered Zone 1, Zone 2, and Zone 3. Heading down the pier towards Nassau. Carnival seems to have priority docking over RCL as I am always much further down when I travel with them, and Carnival is closer. It is quite a long walk if you are on the furthest pier. Carnival Sunrise. Oceania Insignia, the only ship in port today I have not sailed on before. Nice Aft!

Definitely has changed. It's always evolving based on what is working and how far along I am on my weight loss journey. Looking in my archives I was 264.2 on September 11 2022. I was 264.8 on October 19 2022. It was very hard cruising that long and watching calories. I was happy with the results, but it wasn't sustainable and my options were to adjust, or fall off the wagon. I've adjusted a couple times when I stop seeing results or find it difficult to stick to my "diet" for lack of a better word. I'm truthfully more worried about long term goals than daily progress. My goal starting this cruise was to be 200 lbs. I set that goal when I was 263 lbs back on January 1. I was 198.8. My goal on next January 1 is to be 212.0 so I've allowed for some weight gain, or more accurately, knowing I would gain I set a goal of 200 before the cruise so I could still meet my 2023 goal. I'm already above 212 with a long way to go and another month of cruising between Thanksgiving and Christmas so I definitely need to slow down. The good thing is it is very easy to take off once I start working on it again. Thanks for following along 😀
