  1. We are reaching the end and the crowds have definitely thinned out by this point. One last set of bathrooms Looking back towards the ships. The end of the line. You are able to walk out to the end of these docks.
  2. I found a shop with AC so thought I would step in. Just kidding, no AC in here so I kept it moving. Another entry/exit point Only a couple shops were not open yet. Sharkeez just outside for a reference point of how far we have walked.
  3. Hair braiders pavilion. I couldn't really get a wide picture of it to show how big it was, there were just too many people inside. This shows it a little better. More walking, there are two rows of shops, so you can take one coming and one leaving if you want to make sure you see them all. Another set of bathrooms. I was very careful with the angle because this is a very wide open bathroom.
  4. There is a directory available to get an idea where everything is and to come up with a game plan if you need one. Museum of Junkanoo I wanted to get through the outside as quick as possible because my face was melting off. I stopped in on the way back and there was an $11 admission fee. I was not interested. There was a small gift shop open to the public. Walking A peek inside one of the shops.
  5. While waiting on the video to start over I got a couple pictures of the ships in port. I had wanted to walk to the far end and get the Royal ships but it was just too dang hot. Conquest drew the short straw and was docked at the farther piers with Royal. Bathrooms right at the port entrance, or right before you come back to the ship depending on which direction your going. They had a water fountain big enough to fill your water bottle. Nifty. If you go straight, you exit the port area and are immediaetly in downtown Nassau. Turn right to walk through the new area.
  6. As soon as you reach the port area, you are greeted by this giant 3d screen with a number of very cool short videos playing. First one I got was basic because it had drawn quite a crowd and I couldn't get close until the neat ones finished. Later I got these which looked very neat in person, they don't quite come out on camera but in person they are 3d and appear to be coming at you.
  7. Stepping off the ship there are shaded areas which are definitely appreciated. It was a hot one out and it got even hotter once I was out of the covering. I think this is also an excursion meeting spot as each section was numbered Zone 1, Zone 2, and Zone 3. Heading down the pier towards Nassau. Carnival seems to have priority docking over RCL as I am always much further down when I travel with them, and Carnival is closer. It is quite a long walk if you are on the furthest pier. Carnival Sunrise. Oceania Insignia, the only ship in port today I have not sailed on before. Nice Aft!
  8. That was very relaxing. I think I could have taken a nap but I made myself move on. Nobody needs to see me sleeping in public 😮 Back in the room now with a little more downtime so I'm gonna share my pictures from the new area in Nassau.
  9. I'll be on the lookout 👀. Do you know what bar? I've heard from the crew that Thursday will be a huge turn over day for the crew.
  10. Much better. Found a shady spot. Nice breeze, dj playing some tunes at a reasonable level. "I dont know how heaven could be better than this 🎶"
  11. Pina colada. Gonna enjoy this one out on deck this casino is a black hole of suck right now.
  12. Carnival blocks card game strategy websites. That's new. They also block adult oriented websites. A friend told me.
  13. Still have a lot of OBC to spend so even though casino is being mean gonna at least cycle some through see if I can get something going here. If not, cash out and move on. Casino empty while in Grand Turk so have my pick of machines.
  14. Bar service is great. Several servers walking around right now looking for someone to serve.
  15. Also, definitely do the Panama Canal full transit. That was such an amazing experience.
  16. Definitely has changed. It's always evolving based on what is working and how far along I am on my weight loss journey. Looking in my archives I was 264.2 on September 11 2022. I was 264.8 on October 19 2022. It was very hard cruising that long and watching calories. I was happy with the results, but it wasn't sustainable and my options were to adjust, or fall off the wagon. I've adjusted a couple times when I stop seeing results or find it difficult to stick to my "diet" for lack of a better word. I'm truthfully more worried about long term goals than daily progress. My goal starting this cruise was to be 200 lbs. I set that goal when I was 263 lbs back on January 1. I was 198.8. My goal on next January 1 is to be 212.0 so I've allowed for some weight gain, or more accurately, knowing I would gain I set a goal of 200 before the cruise so I could still meet my 2023 goal. I'm already above 212 with a long way to go and another month of cruising between Thanksgiving and Christmas so I definitely need to slow down. The good thing is it is very easy to take off once I start working on it again. Thanks for following along 😀
  17. Small bowl from the Wok for lunch. And a slice of tiramisu cheesecake for dessert.
  18. I couldn't weigh today, too much motion for my scale to work. I'm okay with that I think. Steps are still doing good. Thirty day trend is now over 10k
  19. Nice messy burrito for breakfast. Now I've got my coffee on a quietish promenade deck. We haven't started disembarking yet but I expect it to clear out soon.
