I didn't realize it what I was dealing with. Thought we were going by polite society rules. One table left inside nobody at the hostess stand so I wait. Couple behind me decides they want that booth and seat themselves walking around me. Guess I'll eat outside.

Even on the scale today which is a shocker but likely a result of yesterday's early morning weigh in. 3k steps in already for today.

Hopefully after some food and a coffee I'll come to life. Nice weather will help too.

Not entirely sure as I just heard a loud crash and came to investigate but there was an overturned cart so I think they were restocking and the cart got turned over somehow.

Take out the skyscrapers in the background and this could totally pass for Alaska. I actually had better weather than that on my Alaska cruise 😆.

Too quiet. It's a small room and for a slot player like me it's OK but I don't think it will be good for a table player. Still undecided on Nassau I'm not completely dead but not really feeling motivated either.

Good morning everyone. Crew drills this morning but I simply turned over and went back to sleep. Poor soundproofing so did the same multiple times due to hallway noise. Moving slow this morning for obvious reasons. Once I get moving I'm going to check out Johnny Rockets for lunch. It tends to either be completely full, or completely empty which sounds great until you are getting a private serenade of Johnny B good. Awkward. Plan B is Playmakers or Portside but they won't open until 1, possibly 2.

It's 3:07 and I'm back in the room. Does not bode well for an outing in Nassau, but when the casino is feeling generous, you don't leave. Great night and I still have a long way to go, but I am up almost $500 tonight. Please oh please let me live on house money for the week! Mobile bar has not made an appearance, but it's here. I used it to store two drinks. That's all I needed with Royal's generous perks for casino players and Diamond+ members. I've seen Carnival cheerleaders call the royal perks "bribes". Well bribe away, I'm here for it!! I'd say their shareholders are happy too. I had two free vouchers to redeem, it's use it or lose it. I wanted some power aides or vitamin waters to take home. None in stock, so I ordered some prosecco to refill the mobile bar. My simple $1 tip was enough to earn me an extra glass, so three glasses in the mobile bar for tomorrow. Needed a water at the casino, so ordered another along with another glass. Got four in the mobile bar now, only holds five so I'm pretty well stocked already for tomorrow, and the vouchers will reset at 5am. Five more freebies. Awesome! Took a stroll, still one hot tub open at 3AM. I can see land, I assume Nassau. Now I'm back in the room, gonna check out the free on demand movies, lots of choices as well as some for a nominal charge of $1.99. I'll find something good for free though and then turn in. Great first day on Oasis!! See you tomorrow from Nassau, at some point 😅
