Hi there, has anyone done a “Premier Cruise”… lately…Someone told me they deliver some gifts to your cabin during your cruise.  Can anyone remember what the gifts were, thanks so much

I try to read those with a grain of salt but a lot of complaints.

 

We have done most mainstream lines, small & large, older & newer ships--we always have a good time! 

 

I do find that CC folk are less likely to gripe as those who write reviews.

Honestly, we must have been on a different ship called the “Magic”???

Because we were just on the Magic inApril and we had a wonderful time…the food was great, the ship was clean, the staff were friendly….awesome….people generally take time to post negative reviews…they aren’t happy on any ship…take the offer and have fun

Is it my understanding that the casino on the Venezia does not have a bar…I have cruised on 16 of carnival’s ships and they ALL had a bar in the casino…

Thank you everyone…I did book the cruise and we included the carnival ride from the airport (LGA)…and back after the cruise…I have been told it can be a bit of a mess but I shall cross my fingers…our return flight to Toronto doesn’t leave until 2:00..hopefully will be ok

Wow, thanks so much everyone…we would be flying in from Toronto…my sister has a bad back so I need to make it as easy as possible for her…so I guess “cab” would be our best option…the cruise starts on a “MONDAY” if that helps?

Could someone tell me which airport is closest to the Manhattan cruise port…or which airport would be best to fly into…Only done Miami, TIA

Good morning my cruise critic friends….has anyone stayed in a porthole cabin.  At the front of the ship, Horizon, thoughts…Do you hear the anchor dropping….what might this cabin be over top of….huge ship….tons of walking obviously….will be going from balcony to maybe this type cabin…I figure is has light coming in cabin so won’t be so DARK…TIA

I just returned from a cruise on Sunday....I went online to see what my new offers were.  There was a nice offer, funplay and onboard credit ...great, came back not 5 min later and that offer is not showing...has anyone had this happen.  It has happened a few time with me??

So we get one free 1.5L bottle of water, why would anyone get it at the bar when they have some in your room?

Looking to book an Alaskan Cruise ....I have a balcony offer....Aft-view extended, Extended and regular balcony.  Which one do you prefer....I've only had the regular balcony

I have 2 elite offers…one has 300 fun play and no once…The other Elite offer has no fun play and no obvious….why is there 2 different elite offers…has anyone done an elite…is there anything offered I don’t see

Ingredients (Alcohol)

•  1oz Vodka
•  1oz Rum
•  ½ oz Amaretto Almond Liqueur
•  ½ oz Apricot Brandy

•  1 oz Pineapple Juice
•  1 oz Orange Juice

Is that recipe for one person…I ordered one years ago and there was hardly any alcohol in it…hope it’s changed…but I somehow doubt we would get 3 oz of alcohol in one drink!

Love bushwhackers ..on my last cruise I ordered one…the 2 bartenders looked at me like I had 2 heads…they tried but ya…NO…not good lol

Now I see a flight out of Miami at 11:15 (which obv is closer than Ft. Lauderdale)....hmmm  If we get off right away we might make this one, ugh

I don't drink alcohol, and as I'm sure you all know, Carnival has a rep as a "Party Boat."

 

My concern is of course, can a none-drinker enjoy Carnival, or am I going to hate it because it's just a bunch of obnoxious, raucous partiers? 

 

I'm not casting aspersions on anyone, you do you Boo... it's just not an environment I'd personally enjoy.

My brother quite drinking 15 years ago....and he has cruised 15 times on carnival since.  He has a great time......and he is a recovering alcoholic...Just avoid obnoxious drunks...

Ok...well....we are platinum so we can get off first...we are only doing carry on so when we get to Ft. Lauderdale airport, we will have our boarding passes on our phone, so we can just go straight to security.  I think we will be ok, cross my fingers...
