It shows it is docking back in Miami at 8:00 ugh

Thank you everyone...just wasn't sure...i know Miami to Ft. Lauderdale is about 45 min some one said....didn't think we dock back until at least 8:00 am....ugh, could be close

Actually I just looked back, it was 9:30....I have probably flown into Miami the day of my cruise at least 10 times and NEVER missed the ship, had lots of time but this last time....nope ....to close for me...always the day before now

I am cruising out of Miami, but flying home out of Ft. Lauderdale.  What would be the earliest flight time out of Ft. Lauderdale should I make.  I can't miss the flight out of Ft. Lauderdale,  but getting there from port of Miami, TIA

Same thing happened to us....we were supposed to land in Miami  at 11:30.....flight delayed, delayed, delayed, arrived in Miami at 2:15.  had to get luggage and grab a cab, literally the LAST ONES on the ship, they closed the doors behind us.  Lesson learned, go the day before., mind you, I actually didn't expect anything different from Air Canada, they actually won first place for the airline being late the most.  Congrats Air Canada, you lost another client.  I'd rather hop skip and jump the day before my cruise, than rely on Air Canada with a direct flight.  They are the WORST AIRLINE

Can anyone tell me, what are the charms made of.  I believe you get the bracelet free if you buy a pack of 5 charms and then you can buy charm of the day for I think $5.00.  My sister bought this....unfortunately the  bracelet lasted about 5 seconds when she got home.  had to throw it out.  What are they made from?

I understand there is no bar in the casino ....if someone wants a drink...where is the closest bar to get one...As far as ordering one from a server....I know from past cruises....it can be 20-30 min....and that's with the Bar being IN THE CASINO...I have no intentions of pumping dollars into a machine to wait that long if I wish to have a drink....

I hear you...I've noticed that about Air Canada, try to get an early flight (like they used to have, ie, 7am..ish....nope.....I know....better to fly in the day before....but ALWAYS delayed....I was delayed 4 hours going to Austin recently...they offered NO compensation...if I didn't have a credit....I would NEVER EVER use air canada ...even this once more.....but i have to if i want to use the credit....terrible, terrible service...Air Canada should be ashamed of their service...

OK, checked off Alaska on my bucket list...now for Iceland....Experience, time of year best to go....talk me into it....:)

We are doing exactly that…I got my confirmation for our pick up at Fort Lauderdale airport the day before our cruise out of Miami, we will be taken to the Holiday Inn Port of Miami, and we have also ordered a pick up from the port of Miami to the Fort Lauderdale airport on our return

I have been sent an Elite Cruise Offer, can someone tell me what other perks above Platinum,, that I might see if I accept it.  I have other offers that are the free balcony and $500.00 Fun Play....so not sure which offer would be better, TIA

Just browsing cruises on this ship....Is there only, Lido marketplace, dining room and pizza on this ship...everything else is $$$...or am I missing something...TIA

Luckily, the folks I was picking up (who were supposed to have flown into Pearson, but due to connection issues in Chicago, had to fly into Buffalo instead) were late, so didn't have to wait very long for me to find my way to the correct airport. 

Wait...i'm confused...there are 2 airports...I thought when i googled allegiant...it says Buffalo Niagara airport....

That's what I will have to do...I will have to pay roaming the day we get to Ft. Lauderdale and the day we get off the ship to call SAS TRANSPORTATION...still ALOT cheaper than the fare from Toronto to Miami

We are also from Ontario, you don't need to tell me about air prices to Miami, ridiculous.. We are cruising out of Miami so we have booked a flight from Toronto Ft. Lauderdale the day before the cruise ($400.00 cheaper than flying into Miami) plus....air canada does no direct flights that will work with cruise times...ugh....We have booked SAS TRANSPORTATION from Ft. Lauderdale to our hotel in Miami, the day before...we will just grab a cab to the port...VERY VERY close to the port, Holiday Inn, Port of Miami, right across from Bayside Market ....lots of shops and restaurants....We have booked SAS for pick up at the Port of Miami to Ft. Lauderdale....You call their number when you are in the customs line up and they will tell you where they are parked outside the ship.  $15.00 each....each way....can't beat that...They come HIGHLY rated...Hope this helps.

Travel insurance is complicated... I use Goose Travel...I pay a little over $500.00 a year for UNLIMITED 20 day trips....They cover my pre-existing heart problem....

Anyway, given your position I honestly would just hop in the first thing you get. Unless you are a larger group just go with an Uber/Lyft from the airport. 

I hear you, thank you for your reply...and everyone who replied...SAS sounds reliable so we have booked them from FLL airport to our hotel in Miami...and am taking advice and are coming the day before the cruise...STRESS FREE LOL, thanks again.

I had  a flight in Oct MIA to YYZ    the flight was canceled   so next one to get us home same day  is FLL to YYZ

We are also from Ontario (Toronto)....When we booked our flight out of YYZ to MIA....there were no flights direct...I think AC had one but $$$ , most were stop overs...ugh....So we are doing the FLL which was about 400.00 / person cheaper .... We book SAS Transportation for pick up at FLL airport and drop of at our Miami Hotel the day before the cruise...
